i'm going to be in Missouri still for the eclipse, I'm hoping that it doesn't cause insane traffic trying to get to the airport and that my flight isn't delayed because of it. i'm already feeling like i wish i wasn't going. i do this before every trip. but i want to see my girlfriends, and i want to attend the funeral for my old pastor, so i'm going. i don't know how i'm going to go to the funeral and then somehow switch to party mode on the way out to the 'girl's weekend' condo. they're meeting friday evening but i think i'm going to hold off and not go until saturday morning. i don't want to go to work today.

I think I'm just wishing it was next Monday so the GREs that I'm taking this Thursday will be over with...

And actually, I'll be seeing T next Monday and MC next Wed., so the eclipse would be partway through when I see her.

How are you doing? I just saw this. "Dr luna" says it could just be ovulation. I used to think i had appendicitis almost every darn month. Then when i hit perimenopause, the left side finally kicked in and endometriosis impaled me on a stake on the left side for a couple three months. Mother Nature is a freak!

Let us know how you are doing. Also i read a while ago they dont necessarily do surgery right away for appendicitis, if that puts your mind at ease any.

I thought you got all your medical knowledge from Bonanza or Shoot out at the OK Corral or one of those. There were not a lot of ovaries in those shows.

All the ovaries were under the care of Miss Kitty, or (one-eyed) Chester if she was "busy".

Reporting to dr. Una: no ovulation... should already be through for this month. Also I never had this much pain before and I didn't change anything...
I got painkiller and something to get my stomach to stop cramping. I hate doctors, but I'll go tomorrow if it's still as bad

I quit DBT group last night. Now I'm considering quitting CW. Just, eh, she hasn't said or done anything helpful for two months or so.

Apparently further south in upstate SC is 100%. However traffic will be insane and people are jacking up hotel rates for influx of people coming to watch the solar eclipse. I will prob stay here with boby. Unless I'm at work
My location is 99.4% coverage. Close enough. Not dealing with the traffic.

When I had appendicitis, it was like nothing I had ever felt before. It hurt to breathe. (Different from a kidney stone, which I have had 2 of, altho they were worse, by far.)

I went to urgent care (not knowing what it was then, of course), who sent me to the ER, who removed it STAT. (Thank god.)

I hope you feel better soon and that it's nothing major!

I "love" spending 25$ at Arbys not knowing I did and feeling like a stuffed sick balloon. Duchess is really trying to work with me on this but the one responsible is not having it.

I hate food.

That was a ridiculously light, fluffy session with MC. I know we need those from time to time, but I suspect it was partly me avoiding talking about other stuff. It feels a bit like a wasted 45 minutes. Well, or at least a wasted fee! But, well, now I guess I know the kind of dog MC has (that I heard barking in the background once when I was on the phone with him--and he confirmed it was his dog) is a lab. Since we were talking about what sort of dog to get, and he asked why we hadn't mentioned labs. And I was like, "Uh, is that what you have?" and he nodded.

Huh, and I was just going to post and ask if you were feeling "better."

I'm quite pleased with Info today. Partly, I admit, it was the pulling out of a whiteboard on which she drew a couple flow charts. But mostly just being nice and understanding. And not checking her email during session.

But, in solidarity, I canceled this week's session with CW. See how a break feels.
Thanks for this!

May as well ask on here. Suggestions for a dog breed that's good with kids but doesn't shed a massive amount? And that doesn't need a big yard to run around in? (It would get regular walks, we just don't have a yard besides a deck--townhouse).
