Hi everyone, sorry I've been silent for the past week or so... I've been really focused on work and getting projects done! Luckily my T is keeping me accountable and that is helping me immensely! That is the reason that I haven't been around so I had so much to catch up on I gave up on the old couch and now I'm completely caught up on this new couch! Just wanted to give hugs to anyone that needs them I feel so bad for all the couchies that are hurting!

For for those that like seeing pics of snow, Boston had one of our worst Winters ever two years ago! I have some pictures of snow that would amaze those that have very limited snow experience... I will have to post some for my computer later on.

Capt, can you write in English (if it's less triggering that way than using your native tongue) that your parents blamed you for abuse which is why you don't want them to see T, and then ask T to google translate it or something?

I've been quiet all day because I'm upset.

Friend disclosed some trauma details because a stupid, judgmental clergy person made a bunch of assumptions and friend had to tell them why the public hospital psych wards would be traumatizing. She didn't describe stuff but some stuff is just evil.

I cried at work because I felt for her. I've been crying on other days due to personal issues and a colleague (same one) has caught me twice but fortunately seems really "selectively visually impaired".

Sorry about your friend Judgemental people can be awful.

Said friend was "spoilt" for insisting on private psych hospitalisation (only option to get a room of your own rather than be in a ward). So friend had to explain just why she needs a private room with a toilet door which can lock (because the public psych hospital has a toilet with open doors, and has like 20 beds in a ward and is like prison)...

If I were local to you, I'd accompany you and then have a quick word. I did that for my younger brother to ensure his therapists knew they should NEVER ask to meet our parents.

For me I told his therapist "They abused him a lot growing up." and other things which illustrated how them suggesting family counselling wouldn't work like "they believe in conversion therapy, and that mental illness is demon possession"

Urgs. I totally understand your friend and yeah... Of course situational depressive periods can also be awful but it's not really the same. I'd be angry too. (Also totally understand your friend... I freak out when I can't lock the bathroom at home, lol)
