Aw...my daughter has been sleeping with it in her bed! Well, it's half hanging off, since it's only a twin bed, but it's so cute she wants it in there. The first day we got it, she was leaning against it on the floor like it was a couch.

Hot soup is better than therapy. At least in winter.

ETA: also oatmeal.

ETAA: guess what I had for lunch?

Agreed. Plus you know exactly what you are getting from both because it's clearly stated on the label.

Ooh, excellent idea! A surgeon general’s warning for therapy like there used to be on cigarettes—“WARNING: Participating in therapy may be hazardous to your sanity.”

All therapists will have to wear that on a pin while at work.

Oatmeal soup? My parents (after my dads stroke) used to eat their oatmeal very soupy. It was capital G Gross!!! They refused to measure it and just eyeballed the amount before cooking. Plus we never had dry measuring cups or spoons. Just the one liquid cup measure. "We didnt have it in italy, we dont need it here!" Now i have a spoon fetish.

Ooh, a spoon fetish, kinky...

I need my oatmeal chewy. As solid as possible.

The soup should be liquid though.

Just finished my Unit 4 paper for psych class - all about psychotherapy - my family's attitudes about it, are attitudes different depending on where you live, have you ever been in therapy etc etc are the questions to answer. Once again oops, I am way too verbose, have deleted 3 paragraphs to bring it down to 643 words. I am happy though. I'd rather have to cut words than be stuck at 375 or something with the minimum being 450.....

eta this was the last thing and now I am officially done with Psych 101! Even if I don't get the full 30 points on this paper, I'll still have an A in the class. Go me!

Now I'm on school-break until next semester starts on 1/30/18. I think I already told y'all I'm taking Positive Psychology. I think I am going to find a continuing ed class to take in the interim so I don't get bored.....

Clueless?

Little and tiny and blonde?

I like my therapists hateable. (Autocorrect made that hittable. That too.)

I have this odd feeling — really not sure why — that you may be talking about current T?

And, I dunno..........maybe don’t seem to think much of her?

Just a vague guess, really.

I like my therapists...........uncultured.

But then they would not be therapists, no?

I mean, it's part of their secret vows: "Above all else, forsaking all others, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, I shall remain...therapisty."

Hey, somebody has to do it. I'm even prepared to not think much of the kids that will turn out "pretty fantastic" because they sprung from her loins.

I like a therapist the way I like my yogurt - cold, tart and cultured.

Cold and tart - yes.
Cultured seems a bit of a stretch for those guys.
The second one I saw has a master's degree in a different humanities field and was prepping for a phd to try and teach at a college level when she decided to change gears (life event threw her for a loop) and she went and became lcsw instead. So the second one at least was well read and could converse on an intellectual level.
