Baffling as all get out to me.
For some patients, not feeling real is a big issue.
Some people wear a mask all day and it is a relief to take it off.

I am one of those who wear a mask much of the time.

I just realized that the womens' names in The Handmaid's Tale are Of-Dude's name that they are forced with.

LOL. The main character is Offred, and I never thought much of it, until watching the season 2 opening. I watch with captions, and I kept thinking "something is off about all of their names", when I finally realized it.

I am a bit slow on the uptake.

My D found a half grown stray kitten on her birthday so far no one has claimed it from the fb ads and vets I said she could keep it. She is spending her week with her dad and the kitten ran between my legs and got out. He raninto the neighbours yard across the road. I am hoping he will come back but we dont know how long he was a stray for.

I bought a new phone today after the untimely demise of my iPhone. I am not used to Android devices at all. I've coveted the Note S pen features for years so I made the switch and I'm slowly figuring things out. The sweet little boy at the store didn't even laugh when he had to show me how to access my contacts! I vowed not to turn into my mother yet here I am. . .

The kittn=en hasn't returned yet I have gone up and down my street calling several times. I am distressed. I feel like i shoould have tried harder to stop hi but he is a tabby just like one of my cats and I got confused.

I really need an easel as the cats keep walking over my paintings and i am spending more time touching up than paining. I painted a minimalist owl painting to give to my T. I have never wanted to give him anything before ever, except maybe some brownies but I ate them before i could give them to him. I didnt initially paint it for my T but after painting it it just screamed T.

That happened to me with ex-MC once--and other T's in that office (not my ex-T). It made me wonder if FB was either going off phone numbers in my phone or my location...or, hm, websites I've visited? Because it also suggested my gynecologist! (No, sorry, don't want to be friends with her on FB!)

Oh, and I looked via private browsing (not logged in to Facebook, so I wouldn't show up on his hopefully) and could see, well, his profile photo and background photo (which was mountains), but that was it. I think he had just created his account though--I'm thinking that's why he showed up then and not when the others showed up?
Thanks for this!

Productive morning. Woke up at 4:30 am, cleaned the house, took a shower and went to the supermarket at 6:00 am (the time they open). I was back by 7:00am, ate breakfast, started laundry, took a 1/2 hour nap and now I’m cooking tonights dinner so all we have to do is heat it up tonight. I feel accomplished.

BCM - I have taken care of stray cats who were being fed/somewhat sheltered by more than just me. Also, if un-neutered or spayed - they will want to roam. Finally, my person and I had a stray who would come and hang out with us for a few days, disappear for a week or so, come back etc. We always got them neutered/ spayed/shots but otherwise let them be - feeding them and caring for them when they came around but not trying to otherwise contain them.
All of that was to say-the cat might come back on its own in a week or so.

Umm...I spent a solid two hours from 8 to 10 am, wondering if there is any need to get out of bed all day.

Listening to the neighbor’s dogs bark and squeal like the end is nigh made the decision for me — there is no sleep to be had.

I tried to still be in bed but youngest dog insisted he was dying from lack of breakfast.
