I heart babka. I was getting cinnamon babka and chocolate babka last year, then the store changed owners and they stopped carrying them. They dont last long in my house tho.

I did get some key lime biscotti from amazon that are delish. And they are not something i can binge on, being hard as rocks.
Thanks for this!

Not a babka fan. (An aunt by marriage was Polish and we ended up with a huge one every Christmas.) Chocolate would definitely make it better.

It’s supposed to look like what the word means, grandmother, but I’ve never seen it.

Except its soft yeasty bready layers, not thin phyllo crispy. The pictures and blog do it justice.

And eat enough and you will look like a babka. But you wont care!

My favorite part of my trip to Ireland/Paris way back when was eating ALL THE CROISSANTS in Paris. OMG. Especially chocolate, because, chocolate is life.

Babka's gotta be chocolate--otherwise, it's "lesser Babka." (Seinfeld!)

I have been having a terrible time lately and last session i was so jealous of my Ts other clients esp the ex-service guy who has started a service dog training organisation for other ex-servicemen it doesnt help that my T puts up the newspaper clippings on the wall opposite where you sit. And on the way in there was a large piece of art on his wall which I immediately assumed was from a patient .. I felt it made my small owl painting look petty so i left it in my bag. I have spent all this time working through the stupid thoughts and I think i am fine again.

Bcm, thats what got me started! My favorite radio dj told me that a good-bye letter i sent him was funny (he was leaving the station) and that was it - a comedian was born! I never thought of myself as funny before that moment.

Eta - now its like i have a comedy goiter. Its just THERE.

And I'm feeling stupid again.

Last night I was told that my place would be checked at 8am by the lady who works at the front desk because they wanted to check the fridge or something.

Usually they've done it before when I'm not here so I decided to go out, because I wanted to go to the Lush store which is an hour and a half away I maybe left at 7.45am.

I walked in an I noticed that I've got items missing-nothing too expensive probably less than £20 pounds. But it makes me so angry that people can just take things. I will go to complain on Monday when the office is open.It makes me feel so unsafe.

You're damn right to be angry, Cake. That's totally out of order. Is there any chance you can complain sooner?

Oh wow, I'd be really bothered if my T put up newspaper clippings about another client's accomplishments. You don't know that art was from a client though. I know some of the items in T's office are from clients--he mentioned one big rock with a saying on it being from a client. I kinda wonder if the stone he's lending me as a transitional object is from a client, but if it is, I'd rather not know.
Thanks for this!
