Come back and tell us how the strange tribe lives.

What do they eat? Drink? Do they wear clothes? Sleep in beds?

Etc.
Thanks for this!

I wouldn't say disappointed; more...puzzled. Posts there are apparently not searchable on the net. I suppose that could be important to some people. There is something in the fact of its existence, its purpose, that is vaguely uncomfortable to me. Almost seems to touch on old feelings about secrets of life at home, to be kept hidden from those outside the family. I also think it could raise issues for those who post much in both places and might mistakenly reveal info on the public forum that was learned there; not in a telling tales way, but more if 2 people were responding to each other in both places and one momentarily forgot which forum they were on.

It is an alternate universe, but nothing like that Tiffany's commercial with Elle Fanning:

I got my items back after going down to the office to complain at 8.30am!

But I'm surprised by how much I let the whole thing get to me- I spiraled over the weekend and spent most of it crying in bed and pretty much wasted it by not studying at all.

My first exam is psychology on the 24th.

I traveled over to other areas of psych central. I never go into other forums. I’ve only read the psychotherapy forum. Today I traveled over to relationships and communicating to read a few posts. I think I just want to stay here with my people I’m used to.

I've browsed through the BPD section, but I felt the same.

I started my first day of summer break with a 7 am dentist appointment and then a session at my gym (next door to the dentist).

Now am going to clean a bit and start my summer to-do lists.

Wow - that is being a go-getter.

I am contemplating finishing the grade forms that need to be turned in but will probably wait as they are not due for another week or so and I hate to set up an expectation that I will turn them in earlier than the exact deadline to do so.

I want to be brave in my session this evening and tell T all the things I've been thinking, but I don't feel very brave...

I know that feeling, Luc. What time's your session? I'll hop in your pocket.

Raising expectations is always a mistake, I agree.

Our grades are due today, so I just stayed up late last night to finish.

And the cleaning is nothing intensive—probably just the bedroom today unless the bug bites me to do more.

Why is the insect world intent on invading my home? I woke up to ants all over my bathroom. Fortunately not the stinging kind because I had to shower with them. I have a tub of body scrub with sugar in it. I put it in a ziploc. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Glad to hear it is not intensive. At the pace you seemed to be setting - teaching sounded more relaxing.

I brought someone in today to give me an estimate to deep-clean my home. The cost to have it done is reasonable so I scheduled them to come back next week on my day off to clean. They clean all the windows, baseboards, wipe walls, all the fixtures, clean inside the fridge, the oven, get behind furniture, mop all the floors (all my floors are hard wood. I have tile in the bathroom. No carpets anywhere)and dust and disinfect everything. I am so glad this coming weekend I wont have to clean.

I clean regularly and dont have a cluttered home, but I dont clean my windows enough or scrub baseboards. They are basically going to do everything I dont do, plus all the regular cleaning.
