Couch 173: The Odiferous One

I dreamt about my prev prev t again last night, the one that has his office in my apartment building, that i saw for 3 years, some 15 years ago. In one part of the dream he was hugging me and not caring WHO in the company we both worked at (?) saw us, i was surprised but heck if i was gonna squirm out of it!

So im wondering if i should call and schedule an appointment with him, to talk over what happened with prev t. I think i will.

When i was seeing prev prev t before, he once told me about how he had hidden a second tv clicker in the sofa cushion and was driving his fiancee crazy by clicking it one evening. I didnt take it very well. I think i could handle something like that now. I mean, i wouldnt be hanging with someone unless i felt i trusted them, and i think i know how to accomplish that now. How to protect myself now. How to care for myself now.

RiverLight - is there a Maine Coon sized box that you could position somewhere on the desk? I've heard that cats don't interrupt work quite so much if they have somewhere to hold court.

Or perhaps they're obviously being very helpful & picking up on emotional vibes from you- therefore they're doing you the favor by trying to comfort you.

I mean obviously who wouldn't want a bull of fuzz all over them?!?!

Morning couchies! Getting ready to go to breakfast (last gift card for now) then grocery shopping, laundry day and will make my lentil thing as usual, maybe cook some spaghetti for h and son, might bake some bread too just cuz I enjoy it. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I want to go hiking in the morning and not sure what else. Oh also going to my 2nd CODA meeting tomorrow afternoon.

Wondering at the moment why i was even upset about t stuff last night. It's gonna be what it's supposed to be and I'm starting to accept that.

I left town. I have consulted with him a few other times since. Also hes a psychiatrist, so he has written me scrips when i was in between pdocs.

Hi una just wanted to thank you again for what you said on prev couch about me drinking margaritas the other night. I really appreciated the wake up. I felt my feelings last night, wrote about them here, rode them out, and am doing better for it this morning. Talked w h some again this morning at breakfast too.

I get some good workings-out done on PC....

My wisdom is outdistanced only by my forgetfulness! i cant even remember if i like margaritas or dacquiris more!

Well h got called with a job in the middle of grocery shopping, which happens sometimes, so we aborted the mission and he brought me home and left again to do his pickup/delivery. Now I'm going to go get the shopping done, later couchies!

Whisper's been busy, I ran around getting stuff done all day and we had another storm so I'm jumpy again in case it comes back

R offered a session on tuesday whilst he was away. I originally declined, but I'm not sure if I should take him on his offer or if it will just make things harder on me in the long run? Maybe I need a clean break for now- I don't really know what I'm doing. I feel like I pushed him into offering this in the first place, and this is just damage control, and he'll resent me when he wasn't open to brief email contact during the break.

I'm supposed to see new T daniel on the same day at 7pm.

Hi couch peeps. I think it’s a been a few days or so since I came on. I don’t know if I can go back on the other couch and catch up-I lost track the last few days. I have a summer cold that I caught from the kids I take care of as they had a cold all last week. But I am going to work tonight for a bit to make a few extra bucks-Which will be nice then maybe I can treat myself to a salon haircut 💇 . My hair is looking kind of stringy so I thought maybe I’ll get a Chin length bob. Do bobs look good on round cubby faces? I hope so because that’s what I am aiming for. Things were so much easier when I was thin. I had a short pixie cut, I wasn’t sweaty all the time. Clothes were nicer. I now hate my much larger body and spend a lot of time figuring out how to get the old one back.

Okay enough ranting.
