Yeah she's pretty bad. I didn't make it through the first few eps.

Why is it that whenever I ask Piaf for an extra appointment one magically appears (usually with only a couple hours’ notice)?

I think it’s the same weekday and time as the last magically-appearing extra appointment. Flaky client?

I didn’t eat yesterday’s session after all, maybe I will today.

And, hey, anything’s better than the grading I’m supposed to be doing today. Even therapy.

H and I are heading north for the weekend.

I hate being on the highway after my accident last month. I'm a little stressed but trying to breathe through it. H is annoyed but oh well. That's his stuff and I'm letting him deal with it.

I need to get over this highway stuff.

It was still relatively recent Artie. It makes sense you would still be affected. An accident is still a traumatic experience regardless of time.

An hour to go... I bet it will feel a lot longer than the hour I spent with L yesterday!!

I often miss out words completely because it still makes sense in my head, and I also have double words sometimes when I've copied text.

Now he's just being a jackass. He took both hands off the wheel and started clapping to the song. I told him you are not even funny. I'm about to say turn around and ****ing take me home.

For me, grading versus therapy would have been a toss up. I wonder if the therapist does not keep her schedule packed with clients.

He has decided to have a heart after all and just got off the highway and we're taking back roads now. I can relax now.

Maybe, except today’s session was worse than yesterday’s by about as much Jupiter is the size of Mercury. I went through five tissues, which is three more than my previous record.

She got sophistic about the meaning of the word apology when I used it as shorthand for any expression that starts I’m sorry. I take her point, but it was a bad moment to go that route.

But the crowning point was when she said something hurtful and insensitive about my hearing, the sort of thing I haven’t heard since grade school. Later she tried claim she meant something else, and maybe she did, but the damage was already done.

I don’t know yet, think there’s a better than even chance she and I are done. I can live with the sophistry but not the hearing comment.
