I've already decided I'd look after my aunt (and my parents) when the time comes. The more the merrier.

Sister wife- Ummm I'm just a tease. With the two boys I fell ridiculously in love with it was just a year for number 1 with a lot of falling out and making up and 9 months for number 2 with a week of messaging again this year (this one ghosted me because he didn't like getting attached ). My most significant relationship is with R. Hmm I don't like commitment though I'm 4 months away from two years with him....

Thank you, EM, for letting your daughter decide how to wear her own hair. When I was about that age, I wanted to wear my longish hair straight (it was naturally straight at that age), but my mother insisted that I wear it curly. I had to wash it at night and she would put it up in those horrible pink sponge rollers and I had to sleep with those in my hair. It was awful. It is so uncomfortable sleeping with those things in because the plastic bits poke you in the head. I still resent her for that.

I don't understand why all that needs a trigger warning

I agree. I think my former Therapist's boundaries were there to protect me. Every so often the boundaries were kind of fuzzy though and it was hard to navigate.

He said "this is the last short haircut. You can grow it back after this". My response to which was "er no. It's her hair". I'll be damned if she's going to feel unaccepted by me. I hate that I have to defy my husband over this but I'm not going to sit around while he acts like he gets to dictate her expression of who she is.
My Mom made me grow my hair out in high school so it would be long for my sister's wedding. I'm still irritated over that. Its my hair. Funny thing is now I wear it sort of long. But at the time I wanted it short.

You have the second bracket turned the wrong way in the first trigger.

You know, if you’re adopting from a shelter, whatever cat you choose, you’re still saving two lives—the one you adopt and the one who takes the spot of the one you adopted. It’s win-win-win.
Thanks for this!

You left in the backwards bracket.

Believe me, it would take a lot more to break PC.

Thanks for pocket riders! I was really weepy, but session went well. He seemed very understanding and caring, and boundaries haven’t changed.

You sure it would take more than that to break it, tisket? I can break tech things just by looking at them (probably)

Okay, so I got the gender of the ambiguously-named applicant for a grader job right. But, I messed up the gender of two foreign students who applied, even though I googled to see whether they were boys’ or girls’ names.

Aargh.

I wish I was off of work already but then I have people coming over to the house and I really don't feel like socializing. I feel like hiding out in bed under the covers and not talking to people.
