I'm sorry they misspelled your name--I can see how that would really hurt. You can get an external CD/DVD drive pretty cheaply on Amazon. I had to get one since my Macbook doesn't have a drive and I had some CDs (yeah, I'm old!) that I wanted to upload into iTunes.

It’s Saturday. I have a lot of errands to run today. We got our rain last night and it’s clearing out now. Today I need to purchase new sneakers to do my power walking in which will require going to the local mall. I also need to go grocery shopping, and then to target to replenish things I need around the house. I should probably start Christmas shopping but I think everyone is just getting gift cards this year except for 3 children I have to buy for. I know gift cards are not the most fun gift but they are practical. I’d rather someone be able to get what they want instead of me playing a guessing game.

Morning all

I'm gonna spent a lot of today, raking leaves. I hate it but my dog loves sleeping in the piles LOL. It's gonna be like 42 today, winter is coming, ugh

It’s windy here in my parts. High 50’s. It feels like a proper fall day. I love it.

Mr. Murse has left the building to move on to his next academic stop.

Next weekend my mother visits. I doubt she’ll be as much fun.

I’m sure you left your mark on Mr. Murse. You introduced him to baseball, deep dish pizza and took him SIM card shopping.

I can't believe it's Thanksgiving in like 3 weeks already, seems so early this year.

I find watching golf less boring than baseball.

Home from work, and yet don't feel like I can stop working. Somebody tell me to relax?

Setting a good example for us all.
Except the blinky picture which I removed. Setting another good example.

I went to a Yankees game when I went to NY last year. I LOVED it. I still don't understand the rules. I did enjoy the frozen pina coladas.
Thanks for this!

I had no idea there were drinks other than warm beer in baseball. I may have to become a fan after all.

Actually, I like local baseball, but don't go to games any more because I have a kid with a peanut allergy who I take out for alternate fun when the others go to a game.

no no no. i'd rather watch grass grow than watch golf. i find baseball slightly more engaging, though they really do spit a lot and chew obscenely.

I am not sure I have ever seen obscene chewing anywhere - sports or not. Baseball players play with themselves a lot though.
I liked their uniforms more when they were a lot baggier.

Was it in a waaaaay long plastic glass? You get intoxicated faster if you use a straw, which you must with those bong things. At least that was the general knowledge when i was a teenager. I have a hard time not spilling those long tall drinks.
