Now I'm doing sales today. Most of our sales people are at a convention, and the other guy that covers sales when sales is gone is away, and the other guy that covers him is away, so they asked me to do it. I'm unfamiliar with the forms but I pretty much figured it out. I just hope its right and I don't get yelled at when the sales people come back. Today's not stressful at all, no not one bit (sarcasm). Kit.

You mean increased need to go shopping for SIM cards?

Lesson for the week:
1. Once you find someone good (i.e. professional), don't switch just because someone else is closer or more convenient.

So I went to my normal piercer. She told me that neither of my holes needed re-piercing. She said they were clearly open. So not only did the girl yesterday pierce the wrong spot, but pierced me for no reason! So mad. But it's fixed. The holes will heal in a few days. I feel pretty again.

I wouldn't say I actively dislike it, but I'm not into it. I mean, I'll go trick or treating with my daughter, but I have no desire to dress up, go to costume parties, etc. And don't decorate the house or anything (aside from an uncarved pumpkin on the porch). My mom HATED Halloween, so I think that's where it came from. (Dad still took me trick or treating though.)

LT

My dog actually got me to like it for many years but now that he's gone, it's just too sad, I've requested a halloween PM session to avoid dealing with seeing the kids out.

as a kid, I was ok with it until a incident that ruined me, I never went trick or treating after that, I was in 3rd grade so all that time until my pup helped me out, I hated it....

I'm not a fan of anything scary though so all that stuff I've always hated.

Halloween as a celebration and all the activities that go with is relatively new in my countryy. I have nothing against it but people see it as American commercialiastion here. But then again so Valentines Days, mothers day fathers day, Not particularly American but still commercial. People for get that we have many Americans in the country andbeing a garrison town we sometimes Americn servicemen here.

I've literally been poked and prodded all week: piercings, tattoos, blood drawn, finger pricked, flu shot, and ultrasound (the invading type). My body is tired from all the pain I get to take the rest of the week off though!

I'm not a fan of Halloween. My family and I shut off all the lights and pretend we're not home. A friend of mine on FB posted about how Halloween is triggering to her.
Possible trigger:
I feel bad for her. It just is a reminder how insensitive we can be, sometimes without realizing it. I kind of take the Mexican approach and remember and honor all my loved ones that have passed. It helps me still feel a little connected to them.

Halloween is thankfully not that big here. If you don't open the door, nobody will bother you. I remember as a kid I once went to a Halloween party. We knocked at an old couple's door, they didn't know what Halloween is. When we told them they should give us candy, they said that's unhealthy and tried to hand us carrots.
Thanks for this!

I did until a couple of years ago when I started volunteering at the Church for trunk or treat, now I am ambivalent about it. Kit.

My first grade teacher used to hand out your choice of an apple or a quarter.

I hate hallowween , I hide when the trick or treaters come round (and Ebony used to hide as well, Tigger would go to the door to meow at them, thinking they was going to share the food with her )

I miss Ebony again now
