My cat is pretty indifferent to the tree (this pic is coming down soon)

This hits a little close to home. My kids turned me into the crazy cat lady. Good thing is they do their business outside.

Mine climb up the tree and chase each other and knock ornaments off to use as seasonal cat toys. Sigh.

I'm really lucky. I don't think either one of my kitties even notice the ornaments. It's just like, ooh another thing to hide out under. Amelia has taken to taking her long morning/afternoon nap under the tree. My other cat, Esther, seems to have begrudgingly given up the tree spot this year to the new cat because usually she's underneath it. But Esther's getting older, so she takes her nap on my bed usually. She's like, I want to nap in comfort! Kit.

Thanks! The kids decorated it hence the massively overloaded front and bare patches round the side!

Out of curiosity, why is everyone so focused on the Christmas hug and not the therapy session at the mall?

Because the suggestion Info and I have an “experiential” session at the mall together is pretty freaky to me.

I'm trying to use experiential in a sentence, alas my brain took the day off around noon.

“Different” is pretty much what Info is all about.

Because the one already actually happened and deserves immediate consolation, and the other hopefully never will!

I misunderstood or misread that part. I thought she was suggesting you go to the mall and get a makeover and shop for clothes. She wants to go to the mall with you? That would be really weird. You're not like BFFs or something.

They showed the cats behind these name plates, like youd have on your desk or cubicle. I think as long as you dont have those, youre good!

I also missed that she wanted to go with you--I thought she was suggesting you go by yourself. I...would not so much trust Info with fashion/beauty advice...Actually, I'd say if she likes something, that means you shouldn't buy it.

Because the hug thing was funny. The mall thing is horrifying.

I couldn't even get mine to go to court with me, which was actually kind of a legitimate request. I can't imagine what kind of crazy world in which we'd go shopping for a new wardrobe together. Boggles the mind.

Curious how appealing the idea of a mall makeover with or without a t along...during the holidays?...is to you? Is it something you'd normally do? Did you take up Info on the offer?

I'm with sd. But I mostly think the mall is horrifying on its own, especially during the holidays.

I dunno, I was thinking that might be part of the fun, seeing how Info does her shopping. Kind of like reverse What Not to Wear.

I won’t be seeing Info for a month. So this would be next year.

And I hate shopping with other people. Including other women. (I shop like a man—in and out.)

But perhaps in the experiential spirit of exploration I should go?

Hurrah for shopping like a man, can't stand window shopping. Get what you need and get out.

For reals....Might be weird? Might be fun? Who knows.
