I'm a sucker for anything cheesy. Could you make him a surprise box to open, and hand it to him when he's about to ride into the sunset. It could be anything- perhaps even just a note, but that way you'd be with him "there" too.
I love that idea!! Thank you!! I'm gonna do it.

I don't have a Christmas candle but this past summer I went to a candle making class and really liked it. Maybe I'll go back and make a Christmas candle.

That's something I'd really like to do, the same with a flower arranging course.

I'm craving gingerbread!

Remember those multicolored or or different shades of one color candles, with like leaves bent back on them, from my hippie days?

Eta - just googled it, they are called carved candles. Santa is bringing me one too!
Thanks for this!

It's not stupid at all. How does your SH affect his work unless he has to take time off when you're not very well? But even then he doesn't have the right to throw away your things.
That's how it affects him is if he has to take the day off like he did on Wednesday when I went to the ER for stitches. Before that it was in August so it's not all the time. And even this last time he just worked from home that day. It's not like he doesn't come and go at his job as he pleases already, just dump more blame on me. I went to a walk in crisis center last night to talk to someone but didn't tell him. He knew I went though because he tracked the car's location.

The things are slimy goo, hatchimals, minion figures, and those stress squishies (i.e. cat and you rub it's belly). The slimy goo has to be given this year, but the others can technically wait. Part of me wants to do it all, the other part says to wait so I don't have to think of something next year. What do you think?
My vote is to give all of them just because it would be fun! Kit.

I never had a lava lamp, either! My mama had some carved candles, though.

Took off at lunch, early release day for the little. Went to buy thumbtacks and a new tire, how thrilling! I might feel the need for a nap this afternoon.

Happy Wednesday couch!

A little retail therapy for me!!!! Did some online shopping on my lunch break at G.H. Bass & Co--I just bought myself some slippers and some socks--both the regular kind and the winter-y kind. I'll just slip it under the tree and pretend it's from the kitties. I'll also pretend to be surprised when I open it. Kit

My hubby hired this mobile company to clean/detail his car. They've been at it for over 1.5 hours already. I told him it was gross!! I hate riding in it cuz it stinks. He eats fast food in it all the time. Anyway every time I check on them they are both working away. He's playing golf so me working at home has to supervise....

Me neither, but I have one of these...which seem to be the lava lamps of the 2000s.

That's the first time I've ever heard of these so I googled them. They remind me of ribbon candy.

I like the butterfly ones.
