Of course! Like seeing a familiar face you cant quite place? Like last night on SNL, I was like, who is the guy playing the saudi prince? Is it the guy from portlandia, or is there another guy who looks like him?
Thanks for this!

I feel like I'm ready to snap today and hate that I'm feeling so moody. I took my kids to a Christmas parade last night and kept busy. Today I'm yelling and DH won't keep his hands off me and when I tell him to leave me alone he calls me pissy. T said I could call him this weekend but said he'd be more available yesterday than today so I don't want to bother him. I hate this so much.

I just started that last night!

I don’t watch the Man in the High Castle (the book is so much better), but 1983 has a murder mystery beside alt-history. Plus I remember the fall of Communism.

For anyone hungry..there’s a semi-healthy meatloaf in the oven and should be ready in about 45 minutes. The side dishes are grean beans and garlic potatoes

Thanks for dinner jersey!

Welcome back daisy!

Bought a few Christmas gifts today and groceries and now we're eating pizza. I'll be cooking every night and packing lunches (because I have to practice financial fasting) so I better enjoy the pizza.

Have a good evening couch.

Thanks Jersey, it was good. Anyone for dessert?

Couch 183: Stroopwafel salted caramel.

Also Happy Hanukkah if anyone celebrates.

I was just thinking dessert would be a good idea after this meal.

Went to the grocery store. Why the heck can’t shoppers stand up straight? Half of them lean their upper bodies on the handle of their shopping cart and push it so sloooow. I want to yell, “Stand up straight, people!”

I’m grumpy. I’ve been thinking about No. 3.

People at the supermarket think they are out for a leisurely stroll in the park. I get road rage in the supermarket.
Sorry No. 3 is on your mind. Hugs.

For some of them, it's because something hurts, like a bad knee, and leaning on the cart takes the pressure off whatever is hurting. It annoys me and I feel embarrassed when I have to walk like that. But I'm sure for some, it's being lazy or whatever.

Don't ever go grocery shopping in the south.
Not necessarily because of the slouching, but checking out is slower than pouring molasses in the wintertime. Everybody has to visit.

I lived in Texas for two years. As I recall entire families would shop together at HEB and essentially form chains blockading the aisles as they all had to voice an opinion and discuss the product they were buying.

I know probably some of the people who use their carts in the supermarket that way probably are hurting, NP, and I’m sure I’m being mean. It just makes it look as though they’ve given up and it makes me want to give up, and I’m already in a want-to-give-up mood today.

If I weren’t cooking my lunches for the week, I’d go to IHOP and have a stack of pancakes as a shortcut to improving my mood. But that would also require getting dressed, which seems like a lot of effort.

Too bad IHOP doesn't deliver. I'd be down for some delivery pancakes.

Sadly, there are no IHOPS near me, but a stack of local diner pancakes do just fine in a pinch.

I know they exist, but I've never tried any of them out and honestly that's probably a good thing because I might never leave the house if I did.

So tonight, while trying to clean out the fridge for trash night, I ended up dumping pickle juice all over myself (the lid to a jar I was pitching wasn't fully screwed on). Which felt (and smelled) really awesome...

I shook orange juice-not realizing the lid was not closed all the way. There was orange juice on me, in my hair and on the wall. I have no idea why I felt need to shake it so hard.
