However saying that, while I can crochet circles around anybody, I cannot knit to save my life!! I've tried to learn, several times, from you tube videos and books, but I just end up with a mess. I can't seem to control the yarn with just pointy sticks - and drop stitches all over the place - my shoulders get all tensed up and knotted and I get a headache - crocheting with a hook is my thing!! it relaxes me.

I bought yarn and a kit to learn to crochet once, then...never did it. Hm, I wonder what became of that stuff? Must have stashed it someplace...

I tried to learn to crochet, but it was nearly impossible for me. I struggle with spacial things, plus being left handed. "Do what I do, just the opposite." I could never see it. There's this hand knitted blanket I saw online that I want to try, though.

It's only 930 and I've been crying a ton already this am. One minute I think i'm fine, then i'm back to bursting into tears.

My t asked me if this was harder for me than losing my dog. You bet! I had 6 months to deal with him leaving me a tons of support. 2 weeks and barely any support, makes this a nightmare.

I keep hoping when I wake up, this is all a dream.

DP-Sorry about your situation with the therapist. The whole thing totally sucks. I think the right thing to do would have been to give his clients more time. Honestly though, what I’ve learned over the years the hard way is that it’s every man for himself and nobody truly gives a crap when they are moving on to something else. He is leaving you and probably several other clients a total mess but he’s “checked out”-this part of his life is behind him and he’s starting fresh. It’s very liberating to move onto something new but it’s terrible the way he’s going about it ending with his clients. It’s awful. After my last therapist experience I also vowed to never go back to therapy. That was 2016. I still haven’t gone back and probably never will. I have a couple more bucks in my pocket, I’m not in my head as much as when I was in therapy and I no longer have to deal with any drama that comes from the so called "Theraputic Alliance”. It’s hard to see or imagine it now, but you will slowly start to get over it and it will just go down as one of things that could have been handled differently.
But I am sorry you are struggling so much. It’s painful-I’ve been there.

Thanks Jersey, and yes he did seem checked out, which is partly why I'm struggling, I wanted some care or compassion, something so I didn't feel so alone... he couldn't give me that.

I'm glad you understand the whole not wanting more therapy thing, it seems thats the most common thing I'm told but I just can't do it... I'll find a way, I always do. I will bury my pain like I have my whole life. Try to focus on other things even though, sadly so many things will remind me of him now.

At least I got a few sessions to go. I can try to make more peace with it somehow. Although if he continues to seem checked out, it will be hard.

A two week notification is ridiculous.

You will get through this, even if you don't believe this right now. One day at a time, one breath at a time.Human hearts forget how strong they are. If you're strong enough to let it in you're strong enough to let it go.

I live in small town. We have a Christmas fair in the main square with a huge tree. I think many others do as well. We also have lights at Oxford street every year, but I'm not sure it's a ceremony per se.

When are Oxford Street Christmas Lights switched on? - Time Out

From the top of my head. I'm not sure what you've taken but factors for elimination would include absorption, distribution, and half life of the medication.

@@ I just started a new show on Netflix called 1983, that you might like kinda like man in the high castle. Al Gore is president! An idealistic law student and a disgraced cop uncover a conspiracy to keep Poland behind the Iron Curtain.

Possible trigger:

Meat pie?! But I am wearing my Christmas suit right now. My top reads "express your Elf" and has an elf with a cute little hat on it and candy canes.

I've been devolving slowly, and in a moment of madness I deleted my account. The break was nice, but all of my recent T drama drew me back.
