Today i think i experienced a full dissociation for a few minutes because when i came back to myself i wouldnt have known what i had said or done, yet i had the proofs that i had talked with someone and done some things. It was scary.

And right after a little, i saw things like a wall moving and "blurring".

I stopped working for a few minutes because i didnt know what to do, giving it importance or not? And i was scared it would happen again but it didnt.

Is this something i should talk with my T about or just a my minds joke?

This sounds quite scary. I would certainly talk about it with your T.

I'm so sorry, sinking That definitely sounds scary. Yes, talk about this with your T if you can. Hopefully he will be able to help. Just stay safe and take care of yourself. Sending many hugs to you

I think you labeled it correctly, dissociation. If you take a look at the Dissociative Experiences Scale here: Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES-II): Screening for Dissociative Identity Disorder and more , you will see that it is a common experience for some people.

One incident isn't really a reason for alarming concern. Could be a response to a particular distressing event or perhaps an actual/symbolic reminder of something you have dissociated to before. Of course talk about it with your T.
Thanks for this!

After a little while i also felt the presence of someone with their face (old woman face with mean intentions - as a witch) next to mine whispering something i didnt understand.

i contacted my T because i thought i was losing my mind. we'll talk about it tomorrow.

Thank you for your support

Dissociating is a scary feeling, especially when time is lost. It is your brain trying to protect you; your brain means well. Therapy has been so successful for me in overcoming dissociation, and one helpful thing is to try and identify the trigger. Superstitious, magical thinking goes hand in hand- telling what is real and what is distorted- and you are not losing your mind. It does mean that an immense source of pain or fear is being perceived, and it might take some work to find that.

First, I am sorry that this is distressing to you; it would be to me as well. I've dealt with this kind of thing in the past, and during my early therapy experiences as I reclaimed my childhood from its violent beginnings and began to heal.

Your T can be of help but we can be, as well. You will find support here ....well, mixed with the occasional nuttiness and judgment. You know who you are. Just kidding!

I would ALSO urge you to begin to develop strategies to ground yourself. Yes, that sounds woo-woo, but a couple things that have worked for me. Breathing exercises. Having special objects around. Drinking a beverage (n/a) that brings you back to the sensory world -- it could be herbal tea or could be a smoothie or something else, hopefully not too sugary or stimulating. Stretching or yoga is helpful to some people. For me, it's hard to beat time in nature or being with my dog. Music? Contact with the earth or a beloved stuffed animal (at any age!).

I wish you the best and I know that I am not alone.

I think you can make it go away. Do you know how to do something in particular that "grounds" you? If not, stamp your feet on the floor, stand or sit up straight, and take 3 deep breaths.

I'm a little bit concerned that this was more than dissociation due to your description of the moving wall, blurring, and, most significantly, the "presence of someone with their face (old woman face with mean intentions - as a witch) next to mine whispering something i didnt understand." That sounds more like hallucinations/psychosis to me.
