I just made the best diet friendly pizza. In the WW community they call it 2 ingredient dough. 1/2 cup of self rising flour and half cup of plain non fat Greek yogurt. Mix it up good, roll it out add low calorie pizza sauce and either light or fat free mozzarella bake it on 400 for 13 minutes-crust is nice and thin and crispy and the pizza taste almost like the real thing from a good take out place. I throughly enjoyed it.

My week was miserable. I’m happy it’s Friday and I’m even more happy I was able to eat pizza and stay on my diet. WW works if you work it.

She’s raising her rates, too, which is fine because she’s the cheapest I’ve seen around here and the raise still keeps her on the low end. But she’s also offering 45-minute and 60-minute sessions. I signed up for 60 because neither of us has managed to throttle the other yet in 50 minutes, so...

And she said, “you delight me.” I stared blankly at her. I mean, what does one say to that? “I’m glad”?
lol. i would be offended to if my T suggested a makeover. but lime green pants!

I keep reading posts on here about what happened 3 years ago on Tuesday (when I was unfaithful to H) and the aftermath. I need to stop.

Don't torture yourself LT

You have a wonderful H who has forgiven it and still loves you and wants to be with you and work it out. People mess up sometimes in life. You are allowed to forgive yourself.

I'm so depressed. Everyone around me is having babies. Now my step niece is pregnant. I'm now on birth control for medical reasons. And we're selling our house and I have to get rid of everything I saved/bought/made for my own baby. I'm just defeated.

The dough actually sounds really good and simple. I imagine you could use it as a crust or base for pretty much anything you might want to top it with? I might tuck it away for a night when I don't want to cook but have to.

I fell asleep for a few hours and just had a dream about the ex therapist. She was different. Her hair was short. In the dream she wanted to meet for an appointment, but I woke up before I got there.

Thanks DP and Una. It wasn't initially about torturing myself. I realized by a friend's FB post that something awful had happened to a mutual former coworker a few days before the cheating happened, something that was very upsetting to me. And I was trying to remember if I'd had an unsatisfactory talk with H about it (figured I might have posted on here), how maybe that could have contributed to my mindset at the time I was unfaithful. Not to excuse myself, but to understand a possible contributing factor to what happened. (I didn't find what I was looking for but then kept reading out of morbid curiosity.)

Had a bad breakdown last night. Something triggered some really negative thoughts about T in my mind. I ended up drinking some when my brother left and then
Possible trigger:

I still wont go back to therapy though, so somehow I gotta just keep working on forgetting T and trying to remind myself he doesn't care anymore. Hopefully I can stop caring or thinking of him soon. Since he's done that for me already.

2 years reconnecting is very unlikely no matter how bad I want it, I can't imagine he will want it at all.

More snow predicted for today. It has snowed on the last three weekends. That is completely not normal for here.

morning couch. i'm up early studying i need to get a lot done today of what's due this coming week. This so-called "introductory" astronomy class is difficult. I just took the module 2 quiz (without using my textbook like it recommends to better prepare for the exams) and scored 78.48%. I guess I'm going to start using the textbook on the quizzes!!

I'm feeling a bit defeated today. If I can't understand introductory Astronomy at a community college level, there's really not much hope for me eventually completing a Master's program in anything is there. I'm just not intelligent enough and I guess I would do better to just accept it and move on, and instead take the rest of the Psych classes because those interest me the most and be content with learning for the sake of learning.
Upon typing that - now I hear L's voice in my head reminding me that I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself with the 58-60 hour work weeks. And now I'm thinking maybe once our overtime is done (actually it's slowing down already I have to work only 4 hours OT on Sunday instead of 8) it will get better. I'm kind of exhausted all the time lately. The semester just started what, 10 days ago? There's still time to do better.
Hugs and headnods as wanted all around. I gotta get back to studying.

I suppose it depends upon your goals. Are you taking community college classes because your goal is to become an astronomer? If not, then perhaps shifting how you view the underlying required courses as being an opportunity to learn a smattering about some things. All you have to do is learn enough to pass the class, you don't have to love it or be at the top of the class in it. Focus on learning more about an area rather than on grades is what I tell students all the time. The other thing is that learning new things is not going to be easy or quick in all areas. Struggling with a new subject is not a bad thing.

Art, I think you should take as your motto for this astronomy class per aspera ad astra, “through difficulties to the stars.”

It’s just a required course. Many of my students take my courses because they fulfill a humanities or historical awareness requirement and they definitely work harder on courses for their major. You don’t have to ace every course.

And what SD said.
