There's a spider who has been living in my office all week. I've decided to call her Charlotte, like Charlotte's Web. I find myself looking up in the corner to make sure she's still there. I wonder what she does all day besides hang upside down. Kit
Thanks for this!

There’s a spider in the corner in the ceiling of our bathroom that has been there a week or so. I keep checking for him/her too!
Thanks for this!

For the good of the Couch, you MUST go shopping with her.

Printed off tons of coloring pages, some I made from my own photos,, some are Disney and some just cute, some cuss words etc. Got a huge stack, hopefully it will inspire me to get into doing that more when I'm anxious and I never have company over but if some rare chance I do someday, they could always color as well.

Got an offer on Mom's house today; it was a little low but it was an offer so I took it. Done is better than perfect.

I've got surgery on February 4 and then, if I'm allowed to travel by that point, I'm going on a cruise to the Panama Canal on February 28. It's the same cruise Mom and I were supposed to do in December. Depending on the results of the surgery, it'll either be a cancer-free celebration or a hiatus where I have permission not to think about cancer for ten days.

I'm sorry if I bother anyone with complaining about my H.

He's being controlling and selfish again. He wants to buy a new car today... I want to go see my new niece. They're both at the same time. I need to be there when he trades in his car because I'm part owner. So he wants me to rush when seeing my sister... there's more to the story but that's the main gist of it.

I'm looking forward to processing my relationship with my H with L. Maybe I'll leave him finally?

Oh, the date is set. Saturday, March 9, will live in infamy. Except she thinks I need a makeup makeover first. Which kind of offends me, because while I don’t spend a lot of time on makeup I thought I was doing OK. And she has an orange face.

She’s raising her rates, too, which is fine because she’s the cheapest I’ve seen around here and the raise still keeps her on the low end. But she’s also offering 45-minute and 60-minute sessions. I signed up for 60 because neither of us has managed to throttle the other yet in 50 minutes, so...

And she said, “you delight me.” I stared blankly at her. I mean, what does one say to that? “I’m glad”?

I just read Info’s letter announcing her rate changes.

Second sentence, standard therapist boilerplate: “it has been an honor to be a part of this journey with you.”

Third sentence: “In my commitment to keep abreast...”

My gut response to a therapist saying such a thing would be "Have you gone mad?"

And what is it with those people and the word "honor"? good god.

As I left, Info and the rest of her floor (all therapists) were preparing to have a meeting.

What do you call a group of therapists? A gaggle, like geese? It looked scary.

I would definitely call a group of them "a murder of therapists" or "a skulk of therapists"
