Hi everybody, I'm dreading today. My Mom's foster Mom is coming for a visit. IDK for how long. Last time she was here like 2 weeks. She arrives today. She's nice enough but she is critical. And that wears on me. I have some stuff planned to do and of course there's work so I won't always be around her, but it just wears on me. My Mom, probably out of her own need to be accepted, has an expectation that I act perfect around her foster Mom. Even down to what TV shows I can watch in front of her (No Big Bang Theory). I'm exhausted and this lady isn't even here yet. We talked about it a little in T last time, but I wish we would have talked about it more, because now it's here and I have to deal with it. Ugh. IWIWD. Hugs if anyone wants one. Kit

Hi couch. Popping on here for a few during lunch break. Still doing 10 hour days this week but only had to work 4 this past Sunday so it hasn't been so bad. 54 hrs is better than 58-60! Module 2 of homework/labs/discussion posts is due tonight in my Astronomy class. I'm done with them, thankfully. I have made a decision that I am not going to drop the class, I am going to keep on going. After averaging 120% due to extra credit on my discussion posts so far, I'm thinking that continuing to write well and make sure I hit all the rubrics on the discussion posts for the rest of the semester will help even out lower scores elsewhere. I can do this. I am doing this.

Module 3 that I will start working on after I get off work today is called "Moon Phases, Eclipses and Wandering Planets". I will post an Astronomy tidbit once I start reading the next section in our textbook...

I hope we go back to 40 hour weeks at work soon.
oh an update (trigger for weight)

Just finished working for 48 hrs straight. When I got home, I made a double batch of chili. Now I'm going back to work. I'm not even tired yet. I don't feel human this week.

IDK what is wrong with the Big Bang Theory. My Mom doesn't like it but she "tolerates" me watching it (her words). My Mom thinks it's stupid and can't imagine why I watch a show like that. But I was told not to while her foster Mom is here. Like I said, IWIWD. Take away any little bit of pleasure! Sheesh! Kit

I don't feel like I can do this week without any contact. I have a lot on my mind lately. I've got some memories stuck in my head about

and we were in the middle of attempting to discuss some of it this week. I say attempting because it wasn't going so well from my side of the room. He's the only person I can talk to. Maybe I'll try journaling while he's away.

Extra T session was helpful today. I’d misunderstood something he’d said yesterday about his email policy. And feel better about it now. I think it was an important conversation, and he commented on that too. And he wished me a happy birthday (twice actually), so that was nice

Have you considered getting yourself a hotel room and taking a mini-vacation from the whole situation?

Good idea stopdog, but I probably can't afford a hotel for two weeks. Maybe a weekend. I could stay with friends like I do sometimes, but there again probably not for two weeks at a time. I'll survive it, especially with work taking up 40 hours or more a week.

Evening. Got appointment with my new doctor tomorrow morning. Very apprehensive as to her character and the approach she'll take in light of the previous transference and attachment.

Although they seem to think that cause she's a woman it will all be ok😂😂

But one never knows how attuned or empathic health care professionals are to MH issues. Plus I'm obvs a problem client whose been the subject of meetings I've not attended or been told of where Decisions Have Been Made...fun times

Preparing myself for distant but professionally civil and no support bar the backside covering call your GP or 999 if in distress. Otherwise see you in 3 months for meds check.

I've been so upset since yesterday. I got a call yesterday only 1 hour into the school day that my 9 year old son was punched in the face. Not once but twice! In the bathroom from some other kid who was also calling him names. He's had issues with these kids since the beginning of the school year. I've talked to the teachers and principal about it only to be told that it was harmless.

Astronomy tidbit I just read about: sunlight reflected from the earth faintly illuminates the 'dark' part of the moon. that's called 'earthshine'. it's why we see the outline of the full face of the moon even if it isn't a full moon. i'd never heard of 'earthshine' before.

Ugh, I'm so sorry...That's not OK. Is there anyone else you can escalate to, like county school board?

Call the cops to report and assault and see how harmless he thinks it is then. I would be livid in your shoes.
