Maybe you could do a phone session rather than miss it altogether?

I'm okay now-

I've stopped crying. I'm eating my feelings (cookies with double chocolate) and I'm going to compose a i'm sorry email.

Thank you for replying Artie. It really does help.

How was your morning session with L?

Snap. Am eating my feelings too. Pure butter Scottish shortbread. It's cause it's two weeks tomorrow my doc ceased treatment and I got an appointment with the doc that is not him.

I don't want to see her. I'm angry she's not him. She's horrid. The whole place is horrid. Do we have to go?

EtA: Yes we do need to go because she's the link to our care from the nhs and even though you hate her, and we think she's bloody useless, and the nhs doesn't give a ****, she's part of our safety plan and to keep us safe we need her on board and she does provide a containment function. Don't worry we'll take care of her.

How is his supervision?

I also bought R Shortbread biscuits when I saw him in person. It's so darn good and the calories are worth it though.

I think I have read your thread but I may be confusing your posts, unless she is the only doc there I would honestly try to find someone you actually feel comfortable with.

Calories defo worth it 😍😍😍

Well I'm in special measures- been assigned her by the practice after developing transference for my old doc. I could change surgeries but that's a bloody hassle and the woman is perfectly civil and professional - my t would say the only prob with her is that she's not my old doc!!! At this stage everyone would be horrid.

Hugs.

It went well, thanks. Uncomfortable topic and I cried a good bit but it was a really good, open and honest discussion. I gave her the poem I wrote for her in December which I forgot the other day. She said it was such a gift. I'm glad I went and that we finished the discussion about that stuff that started the other day.

Transference is very very common, but if she's only for medication review and civil then perhaps it might be easier to stay with her.

I noticed the writing under your picture. I'm honestly glad it went well. I'm proud of all the progress you've made and it does give me hope that I can also get through the whole transference thing but oh is it stupidly bad right now.

My boss walked by my office. Door open. Me head on hand. Boss: you okay? Me: shakes head yes. Boss: you okay? Me, removes head from hand, shakes head yes. I mean, what else was I supposed to say? Kit

If you don't feel comfortable disclosing anything to him, you don't have to, but if you're really not well I don't think there's anything wrong in admitting that either.

Yeah, but it's an emotional not well...so there's no explaining that. Although usually when I'm in my office with the lights off, people at my office just assume it's another migraine.

Well I got thru much of it at least..... there's one last bugger of it that continues to get the best of me. That bit is what we talked about today. I'll PM you more if you wanna hear about it.

Yes, I brought up my worries about the impending weather and he said if it did snow we could talk on the phone. We had a good session. We talked about how hard his week away was on me and he reassured me that he wasn't going to abandon me because I found it hard and I had feelings about it. He said he's glad to serve the role he is for me right now. I told him I had felt forgotten that week and he told me that he hadn't forgotten me at all and that he had thought of me. I think he was being genuine. He made me cry.
