Hope that's what it is. I mean, not that celiac is great, but like you said, better than some of the alternatives. I think they have to do a biopsy to confirm that usually? (I got a very slight reading on a test that's supposed to be zero that could indicate celiac, but it wasn't really high enough to warrant more testing.)

My Mom just called me. She said my Dad's colonoscopy looked good. No sign of cancer or anything else. I'm glad they didn't find any tumors this time. Last time he had to have surgery and they took out a bunch of stuff. I'm so relieved. Kit

An endoscopy, I think—my sister is gluten-sensitive but chose not to have an endoscopy to confirm celiac disease because her symptoms improved with a gluten-free diet.

Good thing I already gave up Oreos, huh?

Awww. They look so loving with one another. My older cat pretty much ignores my younger kitty but my younger kitty adores my older cat.

That made me laugh out loud. I hear a lot of that, and even speak it sometimes.

I told my therapist today that therapy is like Fight Club. Rule #1 of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club. (We were talking about how difficult I find it to talk about the therapy relationship with him.) He laughed but disagreed. Some of the other rules might be applicable as well. Maybe not Rule 6 though.

Quote:
The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club: Someone yells "Stop!", goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: Only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: One fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: No shirts, no shoes. Seventh rule: Fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.

Welcome home, Velcro...and welcome back to the Couch. Please be kind to yourself, and treat yourself gently over the coming days.
