I'm comfortable with him, I've been alone with him many times before in a professional setting (and no he's not a T).... and he brought his kids to an event that I was volunteering at alone with my dog, no worries...

I just didn't want to do if it was wrong on my end... I'm trying to push myself more socially.... and he offered... he didn't ask but he said he was open to it if I wanted to sometime

That's kind of funny (the thing about me, of course).

I don't feel like I look for it here as often as I once did though. I think I'm doing my best to figure out how I feel about something first. I might later seek validation, but it's a bit different. Something I'm learning in therapy...

You have to be completely honest with yourself. Do you think he is looking for a hook-up? Thats what the bolded part sounds like to me, ya know, "been there, done that, got the teddy"?

With my ugly ***? Hell no

I think he's trying to be supportive as he has in the past. He knows I struggle with anxiety and lost my dog etc

Hes married. In the olden days (the 80's?), they called it "strange", as in he may just be looking for strange, i.e., different than what he is used to at home. But if you feel safe, thats what is important.

Aw, thanks! I may start doing them again, just seeing what a break from that does for me. I find waiting a few days after session to post them helps, too, because then I've decided how I feel about what was said. Instead of looking to others to see what they think. If I figure it out first, it's easier for me to use what T calls "the LT filter" (well, with my first name instead of LT of course). And not be as swayed by what others say.

Good Morning Couchies, I'm feeling guilty for going to work today instead of going to the hospital to be with my Dad while he has the colonoscopy. My Mom went with him so it's not like he was alone. And he didn't ask me to go. I don't know why I feel guilty. HUGS Kit

I took a walk this morning, when it was dark, and usually I get paranoid, thinking someone is following me, someone is going to kidnap me, things of that nature. It only happened once on the walk this morning. Progress? Maybe so. HUGS Kit

I'm out since yesterday with a sick kid. I just woke up from a nap, since I was up half the night. I hope she's better tomorrow, her excuse is expired after today. Happy Wednesday couch.

I went to this class that was a mix of yoga and myofascial release. We used these physical therapy balls on various parts of our body, like pressure points and other areas of lower back, hips, shoulders, and face. Some of it really hurt! It's supposed to help with body tension and pain, and they're also researching what effects it can have on mental illness and various chronic illnesses. Assuming I can still move tomorrow, I plan to go back next week.

And now I'm doing work.

I use a couple of different sized rollers and balls for my back troubles as well as general use. I often just use a tennis ball as well- it is amazing how much pain one little tennis ball can inflict if you sit on it just right.

Had to work for 8 hours, then went shopping for shirts. Wanted to get some t-shirts for men, but turns out their shoulders are too broad for me, female clothing doesn't fit because my chest is too wide, male ones because men look different to women... then tried to convince partner to eat at a restaurant, wasn't successful, now we're home and will probably play video games soon.

Not much, it's raining today and work is nearly done. I'll probably take a nap and just watch netflix or something.

I'm excited! I ordered a poetry prompt journal from writers digest today, that I plan to use in April for national poetry month doing the Poem A Day challenge. Should be fun!

So my lab results are back already. Jeez, the already abnormal enzyme levels are MUCH higher now. Like 112 to 294 and 55 to 149.

But if I’m reading them right (haven’t talked to my doctor yet) it looks like I likely have celiac disease. Which is probably better than a lot of the alternatives.
