I cant believe that it didnt occur to me before that the real issue was me being a kid in a candy store. But like, once i confessed that i wouldnt be able to handle the people who were bad actors without losing my mind, that was free to bubble up. Ive actually started losing weight (ounces practically, but still!) since my sweetie started working there, cuz i wont buy sweets from him. My mind is broken.

My asthma has been flaring up the past few days. When I was still in bed earlier, I was feeling pretty bad in terms of my symptoms. However, my heart rate was actually much lower than it is normally. That seemed really backwards, and I don't really know what to think. My oxygen saturation was at 92%, so not really bad, but does seem to support that I'm not just imagining the flare. Have you ever heard of this happening? I thought asthma attacks always caused increased heart rate, so I'm confused.

Beautiful picture, @NP_Complete

Would you mind if I used it as a reference for a potential future painting?

Sure. Will you share the painting with us?

I'm usually disappointed that the pictures I take of whichever mountain never look as good as it does with the naked eye. This one turned out nice though. I zoomed in slightly but not too much. One of the other mountains in our area, which in my opinion is more visually appealing, was beautiful today. It was kind of hazy but you could still see the mountain clearly. It looked like a painting. I did not attempt a photo because I knew I would end up disappointed.

I can absolutely share the painting when I get around to it. Thinking it might be an Easter project...April is hard, I'll need something to distract.

I cannot force myself to study. My mom called earlier and I talked to her for almost an hour and a half (!) and then I made a meatloaf for h. Still can't force myself. I'm taking exam 2 on Monday morning and I'm not ready in the slightest. 50% of this exam is going to be covering the module on gravity, orbits and motion and there's lots of math in it. My eyes keep glazing over as I try to work the math. I'm wondering now if I can squeeze in writing 10 extra credit papers (they're worth 10 pts each) to make up for if I fail this exam. I've already turned in one actually so 9 more. H and I may go see the Apollo 11 film this evening if we do go I can write a paper about that then will have 8 more to do. I know I always think I'm going to fail things and then I end up doing ok I hope that's the case here too but... since she already told us half the exam is gonna be the part I struggle with the most... i do not have high hopes. i wish half of it was about the telescopes module! now that one was interesting. Me and math just don't get along.

Yes, I feel lucky to have mountains near. This particular mountain is only 12,280 feet so not quite Everest level. But it's also a volcano, so there's a little added excitement.

We have Mt. Lemmon here, but it's only a little over 9,000 ft. I haven't been up there in awhile, i think maybe I'll plan a drive up there next weekend maybe unless there's snow... I love hiking up there!
Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm so stressed! Problems with selling the house (we owe on our solar and our floors are damaged by the dogs), we're running out of money, I'm worried if I can actually care for my 2 nieces (2 month old and a 1.5 year old), my T leaving, and then my ovary has a cyst and it's been hurting me. I'm trying to stay strong, but it's so hard!

I'm really thinking I wont be able to afford this LA trip now. It's far more pricey than expected when I think of everything I will need to buy. Really sucks but I also need to spend money on other things this year and I like keeping some money in savings. Sigh...

Morning couchies. H and i went and saw the Apollo 11 documentary film last night, it was so interesting, I took lots of notes to use when writing my extra credit paper. I'm excited to write it but need to finish working (on break now) first, then do some studying for tomorrow's exam. Hugs and headnods all around as appropriate.
