The lizard is back in the window and Penelope is losing her mind, her tail is beating back and forth like crazy and she keeps jumping up and pouncing on the window and scratching at it for all her little body is worth. The 2 older cats don't even bother with it anymore, they just watch her act the fool with amusement on their faces.

I may be making up that last part.

Baby T brought up a vision board, have you done one? Does it help at all?

He is gonna look for EMDR and group therapy recommendations for me, but he thinks both could help

Ok, tonight is prime rib on the grill with baked potatoes and broccoli... definitely medicating with food... randomly... but with food. And sadly back on caffeine again which has my anxiety off the charts... but, on the up side if H wants to come home all pissy, or not come home, I don’t have to share the prime rib. sucks to be the pissy pants in my house! (Yeh, we had another fight).

Yesterday I went out to my favorite store to buy T some presents. I found a journal that had my favourite artist's art on the front in purple! (Purple is my T's favorite color.) Then I also found a worry stone with an angel in it. I found some other cool things, but bought it off etsy because it was cheaper. I bought an amethyst point, charoite, and sugalite because they're all purple (she gave me a lepidolite...also purple). And then I found a beautiful necklace: tree of life with each branch in a different color stone for each of the chakras.

I can't wait to give it to her, including the card I made. It has silver foil "Happy 4th Anniversary" on the front, and I found a picture of beautiful purple flowers. I wrote:
Quote:
T,
Today is our four year anniversary. Sadly, you're not here right now. I'm hoping you're here in spirit. I know we wouldn't have actually celebrated, but we'd at least acknowledged it.

We've had our ups and downs over these past four years. The beginning of our relationship was rough, but we both stuck with it and I'm so grateful we did!

You have been so helpful and supportive of me. I've come really far compared to when I first started with you. Even the fact that I was healthy enough to try to have a baby. That was huge for me. I've learned so much from you: "It's only temporary", "Trust the process", "Our goal is that you won't abandon me", "Teflon mind", "Take one day at a time", etc. I have my picture of mantras to remind me to be positive. And I keep all your transitional objects close.

I'm going to honor this day by taking care of myself. I might go out or maybe I'll just relax, but I'm going to treat myself. I think you'd approve of that. And I'll be sending prayers and positive thoughts your way. I'll be waiting "patiently " for you to come back.

Much love,
Scarlet
I hope she'll like it all. They're all just small things. I miss her so much. I hope she and the baby are alright.

Happily that is all that's left in the open container that I just put in a bowl. I won't let myself dig into a new one. I will find a crochet project to start after I get off work.

Can you not keep ice cream in the house if it’s so tempting? Or keep flavors your husband likes but you don’t?
Thanks for this!

Doesn't... doesn't everyone like *all* the flavors?

On further reflection, this indiscriminate ice cream palate of mine could have something to do with the fact that my behind can no longer squeeze into some of my old pants...

(that or medical residency, unclear...)

It's beautiful out, and while it's a great mood booster, I can't help but think about T and wishing we could walk together. Wondering if he is walking with someone else. I am so sad

I just got home, I've been everywhere in traffic and the heat. Got Easter stuff for both and birthday gift for the little. Now I'm eating chips and contemplating skipping dinner. Have a show to watch before bedtime and hopefully the cliffhanger won't haunt me until next week. Hope you all have a great evening!

Or I could just stop being a stubborn dumbass and call L already. I don't know why I am being like this.

Please don't be mad at me couchies for talking about this again. I'm sorry. I thought I was over it but I guess I'm not.

I know I know. Stop trying to control other people's reactions and stop apologizing for saying what I feel.
