They used to have a Peeps Diorama contest in the Washington Post, but don't have it anymore, sadly. I"m sure you could google some old ones.

I've got some good news!...for once. So I lost my Medicaid April 1st. H called up the insurance agent? and was asking him what we can do (because he thinks he has a heart problem again). Well, because I lost my insurance, that equaled to a qualifying event. And because my H and I don't have any income, we qualified for a different type of Medicaid! One problem solved!

In other news, we dropped the house price by another $25k. We have to get it sold! H also talked to a flipper who might be interested in buying the house.

My t regularly swaps offices with her partner. In her usual office is her chair and a couch, with the couch just a tad lower but pretty comfy. In the other office, there are two identical chairs with a little table between. I prefer the partner's room. It's brighter and larger, and is also not the space where the kids' dad and I met with my t when we were seeing her as a couple before he decided he was fixed and stopped going.

P.S. Taking a break. Fabric store-check!, plant sale and garden store-check!, another non-surly kid (who started out non-surly this time) cleaned one bathroom, so half a check!. Trying to decide whether to dig in the pouring rain or work on the blanket and hope the rain eases up in a bit. (Or sit and drink more coffee and get distracted by the Couch.)

Have been looking up tattoo artists in my area. There's one who has amazing work, but seems to have such a long waiting list that he won't take every project. Here's to being nervous the next two days until I can go in and see whether I get an appointment -.-

Ok... was hoping to go outside because it is nice but my son started throwing things... so now inside... I wanted to cut pieces for a new quilt from upcycled old wool suits... but I can’t to that because my son is amping up. I am feeling trapped. I can’t even do my self care... hoping H comes home before my son SH and I have to decide to stop him and get hurt myself or just let him go. I hate this. I can’t even turn music on or he starts screaming and making the dogs upset.
I want T. At the very least I want to curl up on the waiting room couch. But I want T. I want a T hug. I know the session with H helped H and I, I know it was helpful for T to see us together (we were not what he was expecting when we were together)... but I didn’t get the little T things that mean so much.
I messaged with a friend about the inpatient program I want to go to. He was really supportive in a way I didn’t expect. But now it feels kinda funny because T brought something I gave him down to that program... so I know a piece of me has been there already... dunno... makes it feel more possible, more real...
I want tea, and music and the rhythmic hum of my sewing machine... or to be de-shedding my horses who are muddy, shedding messes... and I am stuck in my room.

I have the most awful craving for carbs. I keep envisioning crusty bread with spaghetti. Granted, I am not on a low carb diet, but still...

Oh, and also mashed potatoes. Yes, in addition to the bread and spaghetti, which is just weird.

where i used to live a long time ago in the midwest there was a restaurant that served something they called "Pizza skins". It was basically a small deep-dish pizza crust filled with mashed potatoes and covered with bacon bits and cheese. it was sooooo tasty!

Speaking of cats, yesterday when I was shopping at Walmart, I noticed they had a few of the same products in the dog aisle in the cat aisle, as well - only they were cheaper in the cat aisle. We're talking about the exact same products. They didn't even have different packaging or tags or anything.

this always confuses me. it is the reverse in one of our pet shop chains the dog aisle being cheaper. also human disposable razors the same thing priced dearer in the female aisle.

It was the couch that introduced me to the concept of "Peeps" so I made a point of buying some last time I was in the US. I swear it's the first time in my life that I have thrown confectionery in the bin. They're vile.
