If you're in the US, there's actually something called the "Pink Tax" that makes items made for women more expensive than those for men. I started buying men's razors and deodorant. They are cheaper and work better.
Thanks for this!

Excuse me, Una, but I'm also the fat one. Step away from the food porn.

I made chili, all I needed to make it complete was imaginary garlic bread dripping with butter. Sigh.

I could make pizza skins with a gluten free crust.

And one could always replace the mashed potatoes with mashed cauliflower.

Why do you have to replace the cheese and bacon? They make any dish!

ETA: I just added bacon to my gluten-free smoked gouda mac and cheese. Made the dish.

My mom's coming to visit us for a week (7 whole nights) at the end of May, for son's graduation (well technically he already graduated with his AA this past December but the ceremony's not til May). She'll be staying with us. I haven't been in her presence for that long in many, many years. My sister bought her plane tickets already without consulting me. I can't really complain about that too much though because said sister lives right next door to our mother...

No, no. I had a big breakfast and no lunch. So i also heated up some rice and a tasty choice veggie curry thing. Still under (and much healthier than) what i would have gotten from Olga's!!

Eta - you know youve gone over to the darkside when you get excited about putting a layer of halved cherry tomatoes under the rice for their fresh taste.

I'm hungry. But also lazy. And if I get up, the four dogs I currently have in my room with me will all want to accompany me to the kitchen, and it will become a Huge Thing. It's kind of like with babies that you've finally gotten to go to sleep. You don't want to wake them up. One wrong move and these dogs will go from snoozing on the floor and my bed to barking, whining, tripping me, scratching at the door, etc. etc. Better to just stay still and starve to death.

I do the Dollar Shave Club, which is technically for men. The executive razor works quite well, and the replacement blades are cheaper than most that you get in, say, Target.

I also use Dollar Shave Club for razors and el-cheapo men's shaving cream and deodorant.

I had two hotdogs roasted over a fire in my friends' backyard for dinner. The best way to eat them, in my opinion.

I had a good time with my friends at lunch today! We had to wait almost an hour for a table because the place was so crowded, but it was well worth the wait besides we enjoyed sitting outside talking while we waited, it was a gorgeous day today. My friend's daughter just loved the afghan, she was so cute and sweet, after we were done eating we were just standing around and talking on the patio before we left and she was twirling around in circles with the afghan wrapped around her like a cape. It looked really pretty out there in the bright sunlight, I love the colors I used! I'm so thrilled that she likes it.

Well, H calls and tells me we got a horse out headed to the road... yeh rah... head to head cutting in the dark with the one damn horse I can’t catch (my sister in laws)... get him in and find out he got out because H left his gate open because the coyotes were up to the mares back pasture... but they are all good... like I am going to listen... he said the coyote dogs ran the horses after they ran the totes off... my dogs don’t run horses.... check... three with elevated heart rates AND... one that has been run HARD...Ms Houdini... trying to check her... she is soaked and gasping... H does NOTHING. Tell him she’s been running hard for a while... he tells me the dogs ran the horses... no, this horse was just shy of lathered... she got out because the fence isn’t fixed and he doesn’t have a problem with her getting out back... well she drew the coyotes in... THEN I hear an engine start up and someone hauling tail out of my field on an ATV running without lights... so now I don’t know if the ATV ran her or if the youths did... so... I put up 60ft of round pen panels at 10:30 PM... yeh rah...
End rant...

Speculation: It is possible to stay with the same T too long. We get terminally frustrated when the relationship stops evolving.

Women get to take up space in the world. As long as you are generally healthy and feel good after you eat - celebrate your body. Don't buy in to the misogynistic voices telling you to starve, be invisible, and fret over eating.

All the ts and office staff in my t’s office wore blue on world autism day this week and posted pictures on their fb page. It is amazing the feeling I get when I see the picture of t. Not so much because of him, but seeing the familiarity of his office and the calming feeling it gives me. It so weird how a picture and elicit such feelings.

but i think we didnt get a chance to evolve because i was always too afraid to express anything negative in case he rejected me and thats exactly what has happened. i always gave in to what he thought because that i have done all my life because it is easier

I learned from you that women are allowed to take up space in the world, and I repeat it often to my girls. Thanks for that!

I've always been a healthy person despite my weight until last year, the results from my bloodwork were alarming enough to make me take notice. Even though I am trying to cut excess sugar/carbs I still revel in eating well and refuse to starve myself. Thanks for that as well!
