Sup T can see me in about 4 months, there is an intake form I have to fill in and it is just SO invasive. I can barely say things out loud let alone write them down. Plus relationship history, medical information, family information, hobbies?? No not for me.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek about bleeding to death, but it is abnormally heavy this time, like every 2 hours. I really hate going to the doctor though. I'm hoping it will relent soon. I wonder if I should tell him up front I'm terrified I'm going to bleed on his couch rather than just sit there feeling terrified about it? I had already planned on telling him about the cramps from hell episode yesterday. We've talked about periods in a really generic way before, so I think he can handle it, but it's still embarrassing.

Well - if they take off their glasses, wont they be looking at it blurry?

All i have to do is move my phone out 1 inch from focus without glasses!

Please see a doctor NP just to rule anything out.

You can also buy maternity pads from a pharmacy or other stores, which are more absorbent and softer than normal sanitary towels and they don't tend to be scented either.

I would tell him- you could take an extra jumper with you and sit on that.. bleeding on R's carpet is something I'm paranoid about. He has a wife/mother/ sister men always know about periods and variations in cycles do happen and I don't think your T would shame you about any of it.

The Yankees and Red Sox played two games in London this weekend, to advertise baseball to the British.

Both games were about 4 1/2 hours long. Good thing they’re used to cricket.

Oh that sounds fun. They're the two biggest teams?

We had rounders in school too which was similar. I could never hit the ball properly .

They’re two of the best known teams outside the US. The Cubs and Dodgers are probably the other two.

You get me! Our PE teacher for year 11 was bad. Think I just gave up and I'd often just sit on the side.

I have a Cardinals T shirt my aunt brought me as a souvenir, but I didn't know of the Cubs, Yankees or Dodgers.

You’re in luck then—the Cardinals will be playing the Cubs in London next summer.

I'm from the 'burbs around St Louis so the Cardinals were my home team for a long time.

Just got a call from the tire place verifying that my car arrived safe and sound. I will be so happy to have 4 new tires on it later today!

eta notice I said 4, not 2. Look at Artie doing what SHE wants. L would be so proud.

That's a really long time to wait. Maybe they know of someone else you could be referred to instead.

New shoes for sure (and it won't be a $10 pair from walmart this time, I just got these in I think late April and the soles are already worn about smooth) and maybe walking poles too.

And I am sure you are also right about the woo perspective. I hadn't even thought about that and I should have. I usually do.

Yeah, I mentioned something about my period to T a few weeks ago in relation to something with H, and I said I was sorry if TMI, and he was like, "Oh my God, you get a period?" Like obviously joking. Still, I find it one of the most awkward things to mention to him.

I'm partial to the Cubs because I grew up in Chicago. That's who I took my son to see last month when they went against us.

Yes! for years 10 and 11 I got put in the top set for PE and I'm not at all top set material. Someone sadistic was having a joke with that one. I think everyone came to expect I just wouldn't be there

There are not very many EMDR therapists in my area, a lot of them have some kind of waitlist. The others I have discounted for various reasons so here I am. EMDR may not be for me.

Just got a call from the receptionist. The therapist's mom has died. I don't know what to do. Session tomorrow is obviously cancelled, but supposedly the one on Friday is still on. I don't feel like bothering the therapist with my problems.
