I wish my dog would give me affection without trying to stick his tiny tongue up my nose.

SD were the dogs deemed to be "dangerous" dogs? I can't remember the breeed but there is one dog down the street that has to have a dangerous dog sign because of his breed but he is a big softie but 2 dogs in the next street that continually get out and are quite threatening and have bitten more than few people and killed a few possums aren't taken seriously by the council or the police.

No - they raided the wrong house and shot the pet as he (pet) was trying to run away - they basically shot the dog in the back.

The police here sometimes shoot people's dogs without real cause just like they sometimes shoot people without cause, BCM.

I see the T tomorrow though which is good because I’ve been having some troubling thoughts. So yeah, somewhat just busy and somewhat disruptive and somewhat just my good ole depression with psychotic features being a pest.

I made a delicious vegetarian black bean stew with mango (from Vegetarian times) and turned it into magical (but considerably less vegetarian) by adding some pork belly that I had smoked.

I am finished with my homework at least what's due tonight. Now I just have to finish the edits on this week's poems and then make a video of me reading one of them by Sunday night.

It looks like we might have a storm tonight, I hope so. We're due for some rain in these parts.
Thanks for this!

Question: so L just told me I can gift her things under $15 (preferably under $10). Problem is that I bought her a gift BEFORE she told me she has to think about gifts. It's $35... So the question is do I tell her about the gift and let her decide, or do I just forget about it? No, I'm not going to lie to her and tell her it was discounted like my H and dad told me to do. I'm not lying to her period, so please don't suggest that. Between those two options, what would you do. Oh, btw, it's her favorite book converted into a hollow book box so she can hide stuff in it.

why not save it for the final session? Tell her the truth that you got it before she put a price limit on things but that you value the work you did together and hope she can see it as a symbol of that or something similar.

I can understand that feeling. I've had it myself. But it's probably not coming from a rational place.

I do not typically check my work email while on vacation. But I am a teensy bit of a Luddite anyway.

Kneady cats are OK so long as they are not too heavy. And some are.

I used to not check my work email over the weekend. My boss knew if there was something urgent, she had to text me.

Isn't it, though? She's grieving. Seems like it would stand to reason that she might not have the emotional capacity to deal with high drama from me right now.
