Bob Ross is on Netflix? I think. I find his voice very soothing when I'm sick; I can just zone out on the sofa listening without paying attention.

H and I bought my dad some congac glasses just as a present. No reason really. So today we went out and bought him his top 3 favorite drinks. The liquor store thought we were regular drinkers... H drinks less than once a month, my dad has only drank once since living with us, and I have the occasional Smirnoff Ice. It was a weird experience.

My dog only had a piece of bone stuck in his back teeth in the gum. I am so glad I thought it was something much worse, vet thinks the lethargy is just keeping warm

Sounds like it would have caused him pain but glad it was not more serious

Nothing is known of Bob Ross' personal life as everyone involved respected his privacy.

I misinterpreted him rubbing face as wiping his usually weepy eyes.

I finally decided on a Fall class, I'm going to re-take Geology (I got a D in it when I took it in the 1980's, mostly because I didn't exactly go to class all the time). Next week is the last full week of my summer Poetry writing class already! The time has gone by so fast.

I can barely keep my eyes open this evening for some reason... heading to bed early. Night couchies!

Warning for the non believers talk of parts.
Shortly after exT had the meeting with my gp and i my parts went quiet and I couldn't locate them well today some came back and feel almost complete again instead of an empty shell.

I don't know how to explain it other than it felt kind of like we were sharing an experience even though it was separately. I thought I could ask him for a couple of movie recommendations that I could watch while he was away. But I feel really uncomfortable at the thought of telling him that watching a movie he's mentioned makes me feel connected to him. I've told him I've watched them, but not this part of it. Is this just pathetically bizarre? Do you think he would be weirded out by this? He seems to get my attachment and need without judgement.
Honestly I don't think it's weird at all. R and I had this moment where we were talking about LOTR and I felt uber connected to him.

I hope you can ask him for what you need, but also what about a transitional object- I think would be really good for you so you could have something to hold.

Nah it happens to everyone. I had that psychology teacher who would talk to me and she also taught me for 2 years when I was 16. Maybe 5 years later she was at the same wedding and turned around and actually asked me if I recognized her. I said sorry no.

So he wraps things up really early. When he ended it I think I kind of made a face. Not because it was early just because I realized that I had spent 30mins talking about one subject and I really didn’t want to. It just sometimes when you go down one path it’s hard getting off of it. So, I get up and open the door and he realizes that it was early. He apologized and said we could continue. And I couldn’t at that point. So I just said I am good and left. It’s frustrating because I am blaming it on vacation, but things have been off between the both of us for a while and I need it to change.

The early ending would throw me off balance too. I think it's okay to go at your own pace. If you aren't ready to talk about X in particular you don;t have too.

How long have you guys been stuck for? I think I remember your last post mentioned issues with his availability.

Well done trying again. I love how much variety you can have with all your courses. How many more do you need to do?

Funny you should ask. A couple of weeks ago one of my cockatoo painting s got irreparably damaged and another canvas is sitting there ready to go but I am nervous to begin in case this time it isn't as good as the first attempt but I have learned so many new skills since then it just might be better, but why take the chance it might be crap so says my addledbrain
