Just to add a little more stress to my cats I am changing their litter from clay to crystals. I have a half and half mix in the trays.

She said she's been staying the night at his place, but she's going to be moving in with him soon.

I have never heard it called that before, but I do feed my cats in flatter, oval bowls (instead of rounder, deeper bowls) as they seem to prefer it.

Like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Petrageous-De...s%2C193&sr=1-3

I have also had a few cats need to wear the "cone of shame," and each of them have lost some whiskers, I imagine because of what this article describes.

Woke up after an hour and a half of sleep. I think I woke up because I didn’t bring a pillow and my neck got a crick in it. Time for another sleeping pill. (I don’t usually pop them this much but when I’m switching from nights to days I’m dependent on them.)

Slightly freaked out because I hate it when I can't identify noises in my environment. There's a recurring vibrating noise coming from one of the houses down the back sounds like an electric planer or something. I need to go out soon.

Went shopping for new teaching shirts earlier tonight. Saw this shirt with giraffes on it and thought of LT’s T.

The giraffes are way more understated than the marlins (or whatever fish they were). I kind of like the giraffe shirt.

My city has a homelessness issue. Today, as I was waiting for my therapy session, I watched a guy just stand on the street corner, possibly high on something, but maybe not, with no shoes. Some dude walked by and an exchange of cigarettes happened. Then shoeless guy walked away. I felt bad and wished I had some shoes to offer that guy.

I have a whole box of my husband's clothes and shoes that I have no idea how to return to him after he gets out of prison next year. Maybe I should take all his clothes, except for like two or three pants and shirts, and give them away to the homeless. I bought and paid for everything he owns since I was the sole breadwinner for 15 years. Would I be an asshole if I gave away his clothes and shoes and didn't find a way to return them to him after he gets out of prison? There are things that I should return to him like his social security card and birth certificate and sentimental items, but maybe clothes aren't in that list. I don't know what to do.

I think you’re free to give them away. Remember the chopsticks from 2ex’s friend that I found a couple months back and didn’t know what to do with them? Couch opinion was Goodwill, and the Couch was right.

Clothes are replaceable. Even a birth certificate he can get another copy of. So if you want to give, give, I say.

I saw my T this evening and told him about the events of this weekend. Not the raccoon part, but my H and some stuff with my father from last night. I told him I skipped out on IOP because of my daughter's first day of preschool. He always asks how I felt coming in to session, and I told him I was nervous because of how bad my SH urges were this weekend and that I acted on them to a degree. He asked me if I was going to talk to IOP about it since they're probably still assessing if it's the right level of care for me.

I could definitely see him wearing that. He has a similar with zebras, except on a black background. He was wearing a subdued floral one yesterday.

Another 3 1/2 hour night of sleep for me. I'm running on empty and my brain is fried. Managed to take the oldest to school and now going to attempt a nap before I have to get up and get the preschooler ready and go to IOP.

The movers are here and one of them is getting on my nerves. He's a real chatty cathy and told me to smile. Then half an hour later he joked that he guesses I'm saving my smiles for the next location or something. I told him he can hope, but I said it smiling and with a nice voice because I need him to work hard for me, damn him. I am not a smiley person, and I am very stressed out. I don't need this asshole telling me to smile.

Thanks for all the pocket riders last night. The session went okay I think except I was kind of dissociated through the whole thing. I kept trying to do grounding techniques but I wasn't overly successful. I told T about the traumatic thing I was going to tell her. It sort of came out in bits and pieces and not so much of a narrative. T didn't have much of a response at first which was disappointing. I don't think she got how anxiety provoking it was for me to tell her at first. She asked me if I felt better after telling her and I said no. She told me that I have been through a lot and that I have had to try to just keep my head above water for a long time. Then she asked me again if I felt better after telling her and I said no. I think I do feel a little better today after telling her. If I can find the IST thread I'll post about it.

With the support of my therapist, I've started looking for a lawyer. This is making me so anxious, but I did send out an inquiry yesterday afternoon. I haven't heard anything back from them yet. I hope they actually respond to me.
