I'm assuming it's because more people are going to college (which means more students not prepared for college), the fear of lawsuits, and oh yeah, the decline of society as a whole.

People werent that disrespectful in MY day - were they? I mean, comedians rolled their eyes, but normal people, not so much. Maybe mildly, but conversation continued. Now its a showstopper of an insult.

Anyway, i did FOUR things today, and more!

I took an uber to the xray dentist, then i caught the bus, then i renewed my business license at the public library, then i walked a couple blocks to get my hair buzzcut, then i walked a couple blocks to the movies, saw Brittany does a marathon (it was fun), then i took the bus home.

When the dentist called me, i jumped up from my chair without noticing, so its like already the exercising is improving my leg strength.

Today my therapist told me she wasn't sure she had ever met someone with as much tenacity as I have. She stays away from commenting anything like that usually =, it was nice to hear as it felt genuine.

Made it to St Louis safely, been hanging out with my sister and her fiance and now I'm at my mom's house for the night, finally got my laptop connected to her wifi. I made my famous red lentil chili to take to my sister weekend tomorrow, woo hoo can't wait to see my friends. sunday i'll be back at my mom's or sister's probably go back and forth between them (they literally live next door to each other) until I go home Wednesday evening.

I don't think I am hiding my depression very well today. The GM just came to me and was like, is everything okay? Are you sure? You don't look like everything is okay. Your face says something is wrong. Blah Blah Blah. I just kept telling him everything is fine. Sigh. I don't want to be interrogated. I need to be a better actor and just be like everything is swell!

I went to drop off my restraining order paperwork this morning. I had filled it out online and printed it because it's a lot easier than doing it by hand. So I get there and have to wait like 10 minutes before anyone comes out to get me. There's no one else there. Then she tells me that the version of the paperwork, which I got from my state's judicial department website, is not correct. It has the exact same information on it in the exact same order. I think there was some difference in verbiage and that's it. So I had to fill out the form by hand and a lot of it is the same information (name, address, phone #) in multiple places. This made me irrationally angry and I'm afraid I wasn't polite to this poor lady. I find this process stressful. It's a reminder of everything that happened. I want to cry. I have to go back in 3 hours to see the judge.

Nobody knows how they would react until they're actually there.The process does sound stressful and frustrating. Everyone has moments they're not proud of and sometimes we will all snap.

Blimey. I have to do a self evaluation at work for our three months probationary period. I'm looking over the form and I'm like, ugh. At least it is only two pages. One page is a rated questionnaire with a place where you are supposed to make comments on the side. The second page is stuff like what are your goals next year? What is the one thing, if you had the chance, you could "do over" from the past year? Six of those types of questions. I always overthink this stuff. I have a week to complete. So not looking forward to this. I tend to be hard on myself so I think of all the things I could improve on or could do better, or all the stuff I don't know and I don't remember all the stuff I did well and all the stuff I contribute. Sigh.

This list of documents my lawyers need is extensive. I'm feeling overwhelmed. One of the requested documents is my resume. I couldn't find a copy at first but apparently I had emailed it to myself. It's 5 years out of date and I hate it, but I don't want to update it just for this.

I'm feeling depressed today.

When I left my session yesterday, I had tears streaming down my face. Usually at the end of session on Thursday, my therapist will either tell me he can't call me on Sunday or tell me he'll email me to arrange a time. Yesterday he only asked if I was going to be okay and was I going to be safe. I don't know if he's going to call me on Sunday or not. I wish I knew. I wish we were meeting today.

At least a clipper 1. Maybe a little longer on the top. I would have preferred it just a touch shorter. I like it when it feels bristly. It doesnt, it lies flat on the head.

I don't think it counts as a buzz if it lies flat. You could always just get some clippers and do it yourself, I guess.
