Possibly? She sent it just before 9 AM, so I was picturing her typing it at her computer in her office, but who knows. My first name is spelled oddly, and she spelled it correctly with an extra letter tacked onto the end, not in a more conventional way. So it seems unlikely that her phone had learned a different weird spelling of my name.

I thought we were pretty close and now I'm wondering if she forgot how to spell my name? We have exchanged probably a hundred emails at this point. It just seems like she would want to be a little more careful since everything seems so fraught between us right now...

I still have 30 minutes in my work day. It's funny I've been on here a lot today but I've somehow managed to have an extremely productive day anyway. Getting stuff out of my head apparently has allowed me to really focus on work...

I sent him an email almost three hours ago. I guess he's doing vacation-y things and not checking email. I told him I wouldn't take it personally if he didn't respond. Gotta try to do that now.

Sometimes my other half speaks to me so rudely I just walk away. It hurts me but she doesnt care, then I get accused of "starting it" with my bad attitude even though I was just talking and she was the one hearing a tone or perceiving a feeling that wasnt there for me.

I never get an apology, always the one to apologize and then we move on.

I fear one day a big fight is coming we wont move on from.

I'm just so exhausted.

More generally, the talk of therapist vacations and cat advent calendars make me wonder if there should be a therapist vacation advent-type calendar. For every day the therapist is gone you open the little drawer and there’s a note inside with the name for a treat to get yourself that day.

Flowers, go to favorite restaurant, etc.

Bonus!

Does anyone like Quest bars? I’ve been carrying one in my bag for weeks. I get hungry, take it out, take a bite, it’s terrible, hunger stops. Sometimes just looking at it makes me not hungry anymore.

I'm working 10 hours today, but I am off in 20 minutes. Yeah! The owner of the business is still here (she is here for two weeks) and I asked her if she could make a change to the invoice format and she said yes...for $5 she was just kidding but I was kind of taken aback because I didn't realize she was joking at first.

I have no idea what I am going to talk about tonight in therapy, assuming my T isn't all wacky like last time....if she is, then I probably won't be doing much talking at all, but if she is her normal self, it would probably help to have some idea of what I want to talk about....As soon as I get off of work, I'm running home for a few minutes, and checking on the kitties, then I am meeting a friend for coffee, and then I have T. So I won't even get home for good until after 8 PM. What a long day.

So you have the quest bar in a plastic bag or some other container in your purse? Not just the original wrapper, right? Cuz i cant imagine the purse cooties youd be eating. How can you not like quest bars?? They are ersatz candy!!! Thats still candy! Isnt it?

Of course it’s in a zipper baggie. But it has this *terrible* aftertaste, probably some artificial sweetener. Not like candy at all.

It was free, or I wouldn’t have it at all.
