That is actually a really nice idea. I do listen to music on you tube and some videos have nice pictures of nature but I didn't think to specifically look at beach ones. Thanks for the suggestion!

The object games are online (try Big Fish). The puzzles, I just order books off Amazon.

Hi Couchies...I feel a little under the weather today so I stayed home from Church. Just watching Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. Really should do some of the homework from Pastor T but I am just not feeling like doing it. Just want to zone out in front of the TV.

I recently started cross-stitching. Low-key and fun to make gifts for people.

A 4 day weekend for my kids have their energy levels on hyper drive. They are driving me insane today. Going to take them with me to clean out the car and maybe go to the pumpkin patch today. Trying to force myself to do things this weekend instead of calling T. He did say I could but I dont know what I'd say other than I'm stressing out like always.

I relate to some of this. Part of why I left (initially just break) ex-‘Tis that she didn’t seem to recognize how much progress I’d made. She made some comment near the end about how I still struggle so much with depression and anxiety. Like I hadn’t made any progress at all in the 6 years, where I thoughtI had. I confirmed with ex—MC, H, and a friend that I’d made progress. Current T (aka Dr. T) will acknowledge that I’ve made progress and can see changes in me, which is important to me. And he’s accepted my need to seek consultation or take breaks. Art, it seems at times like your T is trying to dictate how therapy is supposed to be, like recently pushing you to do twice a week (which I admit helps me). Rather than letting you lead. Which is what my T tries to do (though he has his share of faults).

Maybe trying someone else, even for just a few sessions, could help you figure out what you want to do,

He's gone for a week. He just happened to be leaving on the anniversary of my dad's death which I had been struggling with. We're going to chat via phone call. The first one was this morning and then again on Thursday. He said if something came up before then to email him. He's apparently worried about me.

If I was a T I would care about my clients too.

I'm sorry for your loss NP.

I'm glad he's willing to set up and support you through this time.

H and I are planning on going to nightfall tonight, it's at this western town that was built as a movie set for all kinds of western type movies (including McClintock! is the only one I can think of). they turn the entire town into one giant haunted house for the month of october every year. have shows/rides/other attractions and food and stuff. it's a lot of fun and we have gone every year since we moved here.

I've got my eye on that film so good to know you liked it. The trailer looks very intriguing.

Fracture is a great movie. I was searching for it a few months ago to show my dad. Couldn't find it so I bought it.
