Disappointing shift at work. One of our guards is leaving to become a cop (we are all thrilled for him) but the guard who is taking over his shift is a little snot. Whenever I work with him I spend most of my time trying not to punch him in the face. Now I have to work every other weekend with him. Snotty guard used to only work on an "as needed" basis and he worked all shifts - now he's on our shift with permanent hours. Everyone is sad about it.

I slept last night night-thank goodness.

I have work today (My short day. 8.5 hours) then I’m off till Friday. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and their dad will be home so he can deal himself. Wednesday is Christmas and Thursday is my usual day off so unless they ask me for Thursday (I’m not offering it but if they ask for it I may throw them a bone) then there is no work for me until Friday. It’s the same thing next week to. I’ll work Monday. Tuesday they will be away at a wedding and Grandparents are coming in to watch the kids, Wednesday is New Years.

I’ll take only 4 work days over this week and next.

Sorry you have to work with a jerk. Any shot you can just try to ignore him?

It finally stopped raining. View from my cabin door. I'm on a bay. Ocean is beyond that strip of land.

Not enjoying myself at all though. Curiously, your sadness just follows you wherever you go.

I'm sorry, NP. That is really hard. I hope you're able to find a little peace or joy over the next few days.

View from a bluff overlooking the ocean yesterday when the rain was unrelenting. These rocks are huge. Use the houses for scale.

This is the Oregon coast if anyone's curious. It's a ruggedly beautiful place. Oregon is a great place to visit if you enjoy natural beauty. Coast, forest, mountains, high desert, beautiful rivers, the bluest blue of Crater Lake.

I'm sorry you're feeling so sad.

You could be in England. It's cloudy and grey here too, but I love the rain.

He'd stop seeing the school based one and transition to the in home for more intensive T. I feel like we're stuck now with this set up because of CPS. My son has actually been doing a lot better since seeing this male T, too, I think.
It's not your fault.

Would it be possible to still see his current T somehow alongside the intensive home therapy even if it was just every other week/ once a month?

You might like The act ( about the Gypsy case.) I'm waiting to watch YOU season 2 which is released on the 26th.

I also watched a bit of '97 movie "the borrowers" just remember watching it a lot as a kid.
Sorry I didn't get past episode 2. It was too slow for me.

I'm sitting on my couch and thinking about my previous therapist visits. When I was in college, I had to take psychology twice. I still do not understand their vocabulary. It is a foreign language to me. I'm different cuz I have bipolar disorder. How can I relate to normal people? I understand things like cardiology. I don't understand behavior because I grew up in different places and religions. Everyone else is different also, they aren't bipolar though. Oh well, maybe I will understand great psychology someday....I doubt it. Thanks 😊.Back to my favorite TV show on the couch... Three and a half men.

Reading therapist blogs and statements makes my brain explode more than listening to the insanity of tv evangelists. They are worse than tv evangelists. I would not have believed it possible

The minor key was fine - watching her was just weird.

My therapist is supposed to email me today for our second his-vacation check-in, but I still haven't gotten anything. I've been really looking forward to this and I'm finding myself becoming distressed that he hasn't sent anything yet. I'm pretty sure he's 3 hours ahead of me too. If I'm honest, this is the only thing I was looking forward to over this holiday. Ugh. I'm so pathetic. I'm sure he'll send something soon. Unless he forgot me.

If you're in Oregon and he's 3 hours ahead that would make him (presumably) on the East Coast, and it's only 3:25 here. Still plenty of time. I hope you hear from him soon. And that's not pathetic

So, is the premise behind the Cats movie some sort of Lottery-esque murder plot? Are the victim cats aware of what's happening or are they being tricked? I'm anxiously awaiting atat's review.
