Ive never seen corn in tuna salad. Is that a regional thing? Im a jimmy johns girl myself. Freaky fast delivery! I like the commercials where the old man barely even picks up the phone to order, and his sandwich is already at the door, and hes sitting there all blown away - thats me!

Now, I've never had Jimmy Johns. I think we did finally get one in my area but I haven't been yet.

A lot of autism spectrum parents I know state that IEP meetings give them headaches. I was fortunate that our IEP meetings were always straightforward and complete (our son is also deaf).

Ugh I'm worried this guy I like isn't into me anymore. We hung out at his house until 2am and everything seemed good but today I texted and asked if he wanted to have dinner next week and he said he'd have to look at his work schedule to see what day. I'm worried that's code for "no."

I'm so neurotic about relationships. I feel crazy and stupid and ugly

I got my taxes done and with my refund from Federal, I should be able to pay both the hospital bills. What worries me is that my insurance has not approved the ambulance bill yet. I hope I don't get stuck paying $4,000.00 for an ambulance to take me to a hospital from another hospital that I didn't even want to go to in the first place! I definitely didn't get a big enough tax refund for that!!! I gotta go after work tomorrow and sign my taxes and pay my tax lady. Then wait for the refund. Hopefully it's two weeks, or less. That would be perfect. I've already made two payments on one hospital bill--the psych hospital, and one payment on the ER hospital bill. I still need to pay the ambulance whenever I get that bill, take my kitty to the vet for a checkup--Esther, the one with diabetes, and get tires. I hope I can stretch my tax refund that far. If not, I may have to ask my Dad for help.

It's hard not having any T appointments this week. I'm tempted to call my Regular T and see if she has any openings on Saturday but then I know how much I like to sleep on the weekends right now because it is so much less painful to be asleep than awake. Eh, I'll probably just wait until next week.

I'm glad it went well and you were able to attend. I get very overwhelmed at my son's IEP meetings, too, especially when they start talking about his weaknesses like it's horrible. Which is how his last school presented it. This year's went so much better. I have my daughter's annual review in about 2 weeks. Hoping that goes well because she was evaluated this time by the school's social worker for behavior and she's going into kindergarten in the fall. She originally just qualified for speech but they want to see if she qualifies for more this year.

Our CPS caseworker finally came by yesterday after not calling or coming over for almost 2 weeks. He was sick before. Told us that he's going to start ramping up our visits again to weekly.
He also told me that my SA report on my husband got assigned to a detective in my county. He said he's going to call and follow up with them about it. Also one of the new Ts I've seen the past 3 weeks wanted me to sign a release to speak to our caseworker and vice versa so I did that. Our 2nd family team meeting is coming up in 3 weeks and he wants to invite the therapist. Ex T flat out refused to attend, so I don't expect this T to say yes.

Today's candidate issues:

1. The dean whom we have to thank for this position was supposed to interview him. Dean's father died an hour before. Interview canceled.
2. Candidate's job talk was somehow assigned to a room that does not exist.
3. The dinner restaurant did not have a reservation for us even though that's where we were supposed to be per the schedule.

Poor guy.

Just three more exams to go and I'm done with 5th year!

It's a very Brit thing and generally the only way my mother used to make it.

Give me a ploughmans sandwich anyday.

It might not be a no though. I'm also someone who has to look at my calendar before I commit to anything. Wait and see as hard as that is.

Are you guys officially official though ?

How do you feel with the case report being passed on to the detective?

Awww thank you- I'm on a 6 year program instead of the usual 5 like my brother. So after this year there's still a year to go!

This has been the most exam heavy year. I have ENT, anesthesiology and orthopedics and hopefully I'll be done by May.

I have monday off as we start again on the 3rd.

Totally not official--it's only been a week, though we've spent together... gosh, 15-20 hours?

It's just so rare that I find a guy I actually like that I get really excited when I do. And then if they don't like me back I just get super sad

I hope you hear from him soon about getting together. As someone else said, he may have literally had to check his calendar. If you don't hear from him for a couple days, could be worth one more text--at that point, you'd have nothing to lose.

Just my take so feel free to ignore if it's not relevant .

But why not take things slower to find out what he's like? You also sell yourself short.

If you're not official yet- try not to make him the center of your world.

I have payment plans set up with both hospitals. There is no interest or anything. I just don't like owing lots of money so I want to get them paid off. As for the ambulance company, I will have to wait and see what the insurance does/says. Worse comes to worse, I'll pull money out of my investments, I hate to do that, but that's the only way I have $4,000.00 readily available. =( I'm working on growing my savings but then stuff like this always comes up and depletes it. But I put a lot in investments so I guess it evens out. But there are tax consequences for taking it out of investments. Bleh.

Depending on the investment, there aren't always tax consequences if you use the money to pay medical bills or other eligible expenses.
