Recovering from shaking a bottle of orange juice when the lid wasn't quite on. How's your Saturday going?

You also have the choice of training further if you want surgeries too.

What about radiology, pathology or psychiatry?

Radiology is not 9-5 judging by what my mother’s schedule was like. Quite the contrary.
Thanks for this!

It's been a real lazy day. I have a lot of cleaning to catch up on- but I've been watching ABC's 20/20 mostly .

Household chores today, insert eye-rolling emoji here. Fighting with my sister who is in a serious decompensated state today. Maybe if I ask nice I can actually sleep more than 2 hours without her waking me up yelling my name? Nah, I've traveled the entire road from patience to extreme anger, none of them get me where I want to be.

Ugh the guy I liked just texted and says that I’m an amazing person but I’m not what he’s looking for romantically and do I want to be friends?

I give up.

Hmm, that hurts. He is obviously an ungrateful and entitled knob. Better that you find that out now.

Huh. Do you want to be friends? It sounds like you had fun with him, but I could also see where hanging out platonically would feel like a massive rejection. Dating is so brutal.

I am so sorry i had run out of the house before i could find a suitable picture of the plant and when i came home i was so angry because daughters dog ripped the book i left lying on the bed into hundreds of pieces. Luckily it was only a $2 second hand copy.

Found a pic of one of the varieties

For some reason I am watching competitive axe throwing videos on YouTube.
There's a place very near me that offers taster sessions, and I am seriously considering it.
Only question is - would I wrench my shoulder?

A place just opened near me that does that as well. Kinda curious about it. No idea about your shoulder...

Yeah, I think hanging out with him as friends would just hurt too much.

I hate dating so much. I feel crazy and ugly and hopeless.

So therapists attract axe throwing places?

Can’t imagine why.

I have had nightmares with the woman in them for the past two nights. In one, she took my dog and wouldn't give him back. I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep.
Axe throwing hmmmmm......

Couch poll - if someone says - for example - what is your favorite color - do you answer or do you ask for more clarification?

I say “magenta” and then I tell them how it’s the only color named after a battle. This usually shuts them up, but if they persist I start telling them about the Battle of Magenta in detail.

To clarify - I am not asking about the question or questioner - I am asking do you just give an answer (my favorite food/color/car/shirt/shoe etc) or do you ask for clarification
"My favorite shirt for doing what?"

Why would a favorite color depend on circumstances?

Alas - that is the sort of response I get when I request clarification. I don't want to give the wrong response because of a misunderstanding.
For example -a favorite color for a car would be different than favorite color for a shirt. Or even favorite color for a sport's car would be different than favorite color for a minivan.
Favorite food for dinner could be different than favorite fruit, so to say X is my favorite doesn't exist in a vacuum. It is not just favorites - it happens in a lot of areas.
I ran into this all the time when I dealt with the woman. She never understood.
It comes up with other people as well and I was recently told by yet another person that they don't understand how I think/they don't think like I do. The woman said that to me once as well when I was trying to explain something and she just looked at me and said her brain did not work like mine did - so I was wondering if it came up for other people as well.
