Ken Berry was the incompetent captain. Larry Storch was my favorite.

I would be down for the couch Paint Day. There’s an artist I follow on YouTube who’s really easy to follow along with. I may do one of her paintings today or tomorrow.
Thanks for this!

This morning my obsession with my parenting technique is here. My daughter already has anxiety and this Covid19 thing is stressing her a bit more. Our town hasnt had any new cases for over a month and the govt has opened up schools in our state. We can keep kids home without penalty if we state the covid19 situation. Currently i am getting her to school 2-3 days a week. She also heard on the news a school in another state closed because a pupil was tested positive. Also i opened my stupid mouth about a second wave. I really want her to go as this is her final year but the education dept website is cryptic about penalties for abscences.
Just trying to get things out of my head.

F Troop was a satire on westerns and it showed the native americans as being smarter than most of the soldiers

Now THAT would be excessively pc! Your funny!

Im watching Titanic for the first time. For those who dont know, in the time before cable tv, Sunday night was a big movie major tv network night. So it seems CBS is returning to that in the time of the covid.

My family was was prone to bone spurs, so i think we misunderstood the intent of the show. Otoh, maybe it wasnt so much a satire on westerns as it was pro-feminist, anti-war, anti-colonialism.

I resisted watching Titanic for a long while because reasons, but I really enjoyed it when I did. I haven't seen Toy Story yet. What big movies have you guys not seen?

I’m laughing my way to hell.

I can live without Jack and Rose, but I love the ship sinking scenes.

So, big movies I haven’t seen: most superhero movies, Toy Story I-X, Avatar, Star Wars Episode IX, Cats...oh, wait...

No starwars movie after Return of the Jedi, no sad uplifting war movies (schindler's list, private ryan, band of brothers, english patient, War horse etc, ), no Titanic, No Brokeback Mountain, no Revenant, No toy story, no meryl streep movies, no eating praying or loving, no shades of gray, no comic book heros, really no movies that were not Christopher Guest or Woody Allen or other comedy since around 2000. And really not many non-comedies even before 2000 unless a musical.

I am currently watching Grosse Pointe Blank and tomorrow I will watch Dogma again. My favorite non-musical movies are Wet Hot American Summer, Dr. Strangelove, Heathers, Dogma, Zorro the Gay Blade, zucker bros movies, mel brooks, and most Christopher Guest movies

Big movies I've never seen: any of the star wars movies after the first 3 that came out, batman v superman, toy story however many there are, frozen.... lots of others but I wouldn't know because I haven't seen them haha

I loved Titanic have watched it lots of times. I've watched Legally Blonde, Clueless, Dirty Dancing, Girl Interrupted, The Breakfast Club and others so many times I can quote way too much of them

Frozen is kinda cute. You might like it.

My therapist recommended Abominable to me, another animated movie, which I watched over Christmas break. I really loved it.

Had an anxiety attack this evening after I emailed one of the Ts I've talked to for the past month. He actually seems like a good T, but I can't have a million different Ts. I was consulting him before I agree to try the in home therapy that CPS wants me to do, so I emailed him to cancel our appointment this week. He replied back very nicely and said I'm welcome to reach out again after I try in home. I feel bad like I was leading someone on in a relationship even though I know that's a right as clients to consult with other Ts and get different opinions.

I found Frozen confusing, because i kept wanting to match the hair color of the cartoon ladies to the actresses voicing them, and i believe it was opposite. So i pretty much spent the whole movie trying to reconcile this cognitive dissonance. "Thats Kristen. Thats Idina. No, THATS kristen and THATS idina. But kristen is younger. Which cartoon is supposed to be younger?" I never did figure it out.
Thanks for this!

You might be overthinking the animated movie genre.
