Omg! Lee Van Cleef on The Rifleman, in 1959! He was still talking fast! He was like 34 years old. Before he became the hard guy in all the westerns. Hes practically a baby in this! They have him made up with all this sooty 5 o clock shadow

I'd be well up for a Couch paint night, if I could find one that would work with my time zone.

I don’t do dance videos though lol

He always looked so mean. Even when he wasn't playing a bad guy.

Not this time. Musta been before chin implants. His hair was curling on his neck swoon. I never noticed before how much he resembled one of my now dead teenage boyfriends. His real first name was Clarence. He used to be an accountant, like Bob Newhart. I mean Lee, not the bf.

Hair curling on his neck? He needed to see a barber immediately.

One of the good habits I picked up in quarantine (besides cooking more and taking so many walks I went through two pairs of New Balance sneakers) is cleaning a room every Saturday. Normally I just do them all in a bunch at the end or start of a semester.

The animals are not as thrilled as I am about this habit. Re-furring things is hard work.

Your new habit reminds me of this: Book Summary: Make Your Bed by William H. McRaven

I only clean when I grade. Or when I can't see the pattern on the rug for the fur.

I like the idea of having a more structured weekend in theory; the partial program I'm in even has us doing a "weekend planner" of sorts where we list the things we need to do and would like to do. Yet I've spent the last two days lying on the couch. I think I've come down with something. I haven't felt well enough to eat much in the last couple of days. I need to eat to take my meds and I'm just so nauseated. When I do eat I get a headache.

I finally took my parents' antiquated hutch and dining table out of my too-small kitchen/dining room. Been procrastinating for over a year and a half. I found some sentimental stuff to keep and a lot of stuff to donate. And now I have a more appropriately sized round table and the dresser I am repurpose-ing into a sideboard (I think?) for the microwave to sit on and small appliance storage. It's not finished but it's so much more comfortable in there with room to walk around the table. It's the little things, couch.

Hi I am back. I used to Blessedcheesemaker but i left as it was coming up for the anniversary of my termination with T and i kind of hunkered down to weather the storm and anticipated a huge depression. This did not come as i found writings by my T that support he had a midlife crisis and he wrote about times in a spiritual retreat and other things which made me realise he was more troubled than i was and these things coloured his view of me. This is why i felt mostly pushed in directions that felt wrong in my therapy. I feeling more like the termination wasnt anything to do with my behaviour and i can stop punishing myself for not progressing. Anyway i will probably pop in now and then Hello everybody

I have started bird watching. I got some binoculars. I am not good at it -but I have a book.
And while exhankster is lusting after a spaghetti western bad boy, I am enjoying reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies.

Riverdale Season 4 has a school therapist.

I must watch the credits to see if SD was a consultant.

I have next week off and was hoping to go camping but my state and all of the neighboring states have a no-camping rule. I'm so bummed, and not sure what the heck I'll do with myself.

In better news, I ordered painting supplies from Michael's! We could totally do a Couch paint night -- I found a whole YouTube playlist of Paint Night at Home videos! (We wouldn't even have to all do the same painting -- there are so many to choose from!)

What a great idea, Chihiro! It would be cool if we could do a paint night thing together. I'm sorry you can't go camping at the moment...you deserve a proper break.

A Couch Paint Nite could be fun! And if we couldn't all participate at the same time due to time zones and stuff, maybe just a "paint day" where we share our creations afterward?

Also, it sucks that you can't camp. I *think* they lifted those restrictions in my state. I mean, it seems like one of the safer things to do, as long as they limit the number of people/groups at a particular campsite. I was actually starting to wonder if that's something we could do with D, which shows I'm clearly going stir-crazy, as I haven't been camping since I was a kid--mostly with Girl Scouts and a bit with a friend's family who had an RV (or camper or something that we could sleep in). Or renting a cabin for a couple days. I may need to check into that.

Its also very politically incorrect, but not in a mean way. Just totally wacko. I saw a few episodes last summer i think. Ken Berry is in it, which is kind of a surprise.
