My kid wore her Halloween dress to daycare for the second time this week. She requests it every time it comes through the laundry. I'm delighted that she's keeping the Halloween spirit alive well into November.

Aww sounds adorable.

She's got the nursery's mail sorted + you get more wear for your money.

Oh I love that you changed it and let her have a choice .

If you order the next size up of the dress you can do those every year photos ! This is what I mean.

So on my vacation yesterday, I did the stuff on my list for the day, and felt all accomplished last night. Today's my normal day off, and I'm being a lazy bum or let's make that a positive and say i'm relaxing just playing a computer game and completely ignoring my to-do list.

Maybe I'll go throw in a load of laundry and then at least I'll feel like I did something. Haha.

Esther ended up having to stay overnight at the hospital. I'm a little stressed about it....she's never been away from home before overnight since we adopted her 16 years ago. I hope she is being well taken care of. We have never had any of our pets hospitalized so my Dad went with one of the recommendations from her regular vet and chose the one who could get her in yesterday. I am hopeful we can bring her home today. I am working so I left a list of questions for my Dad to ask the vet and we'll see what he says. Managing her diabetes just got way harder! I am hoping the doctor will give us some good directions on how to treat her diabetes and what to do for her. We dropped off her overnight bag which included insulin, an ice pack for the insulin, syringes, and food and so I got to see the vet hospital. It looked clean and the office staff seemed friendly. I reminded them that the insulin needed to be refrigerated and they were like yeah, we'll do that. So I hope they did otherwise the insulin will go bad. It was weird not having her there this morning or last night when I went to bed. She usually sleeps with me for a while when I go to bed.

Cute.

My daughter did that one year, flat out refused her cute scarecrow costume that matched mine. I ended up writing BOO! on a white t-shirt and gave her face paint markers to do her own scary ghost face in the mirror.

It was super adorable, except a few days later when she was in her playtime class she got hold of some drawing markers... Not the washable kind, either.

Ugh. Still feeling suicidal. Debating whether to talk to my support group or my therapist. Trying to decide which one would be more helpful.

Just got a text from my boss, I have to work 8-5 this Sunday instead of 6-3 cuz our main computer program we use will be down til 8 am. It will be nice to not have to wake up at 5 after having 4 days off! Kinda ease back into the work thing.

Hugs, Kit. Can you talk to both just for double support? And keep posting here. Stay safe.

I thought about that too. I'll start with the support group I think and then go from there, possibly onto my T. My T will probably want me to come in for an appointment which I am not opposed to, I just don't know what it is that is making me feel this way so it will be hard to talk about.

I hope you reach out to both your support group and T.Could you see T for an online session if you don't want to go in?

Maybe it's the stress of your cat being ill triggering this?

T can do a phone session which I don't like as much as F2F. If I ask she might be able to squeeze me in tomorrow.

I was suicidal before my cat even had her first vet appointment yesterday so I don't think that's it. I don't think that's helping, but I don't think that's it.

I did reach out to my support group and talked to them. Two reached out to me, two I haven't heard back from yet. I'll probably contact T after lunch.

Dr. T was rather NSFW* today regarding some stuff related to the election, but I kind of appreciated it. He also helped convince me that I need to step back from watching the news. So currently outside at a local taphouse, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather and a beer (and avoiding looking at news sites). May get some chips and queso or perhaps the holy trinity (queso, guacamole, and salsa).

*Not suitable for work, as in, a bit vulgar, something you wouldn't want played at the office.
