So in a weird twist of fate, geneticist guy and I both became obsessed with the same Spotify playlist before we ever met each other ("Your Favorite Coffeehouse"). I've been sending him snippets of songs from the playlist; here's today's. It's a little silly since I still have a cough/sore throat and can't breathe/sing especially well but it keeps me occupied

Oh my gosh, it is so mind numbing boring. I can barely tolerate it. It helps that I am getting paid to do it but not enough. I definitely need a shot of you can do this to get that job done. I gave them an estimate of 2070 on when I would be done. I said I would probably be dead by then but that was my estimate.

Yes, you should still be able to access and participate. It will just mean you have to go to a different website but if you can access the internet on your phone, you can get to it and participate!

I put a warranty claim i for my sofa bed cushions as they squash down between the back of the sofa and the bed mechanism. And my butt would get stuck. I dont know if it will be actioned but the store said they will sibmit it anyway to the manufacturer. I noticed that they dont have that style of sofa bed offered in the store anymore, i wonder if this was the problem

Most of my instagram is devoted to zoos and wildlife parks around the world and just love that they give the animals challenging christmas presents to open. I especially love watching elephants playing with theirs.

I also discovered it is nearly impossible to take a picture of your butt stuck in a sofa by yourself

I just did a Buzzfeed quiz about Friends which stated if tou get 100% you are th e ultimate fan. I got 100% and i have watched mabe 2 episodes. Then prompted a memory of a conversation with me ExT where he talked about a situation in Friends i must have looked confused because said have you watched Friends?
Me: does it have aliens or supernatural creatures in it?

Me thinking about how this probably wont work as the conversation about Star Trek the previous session required a lot of explaining to T who still didnt understand what i was talking about.

Kind of speaks to what a stale, cliched show Friends was.

I ordered take-out from this chain place called Noodles and Company this afternoon. The noodles were way, way beyond al dente. You'd think with the word noodle in the name they could get the noodles right. To be fair, I've had no issues with the other times I've ordered, but they were so overcooked today they were bordering on unpleasant to eat.

That's awful, NP. When you've paid good money for food, you expect it to be enjoyable, not just edible.

*whimpers*

On Thursday I preordered a make-fancy-brunch-at-home kit from one of the local breweries that geneticist guy and I were supposed to do this morning. But that was before he proved himself to be a [insert expletive here]. My BFF offered to do it with me instead, so I'm going to go to her place a little later. I don't really feel like it, but I don't want the food to go to waste and I know that moping around my apartment won't make me feel any better.

I know I’m being pathetic, but I just feel so awful and disappointed and lonely.

Aw, I'm sorry. I'm glad you're making the brunch kit with your BFF though--at least you can get some sort of enjoyment out of it, though of course it won't be the same.
