I haven't had a full-blown panic attack since high school, but I had an appt with T that was supposed to be about this paper he's writing about my case (he wanted me to read it to ensure that I felt my identity was fully protected) but then of course he couldn't stop himself from talking about our recent rupture about boundaries and just ugh.
Hugs. I'm so sorry he's being a bleep.

I wanted Huel but they'd have to ship it from the UK to my county. I do have Ensure Plus though!

My daughters cat is so cross he has beat up the other cat, terrorised the dogs and knocked the shoe boxes off the top off my wardrobe and pulled all the shoes out of them and now he is just running around like a madman and squealing. Madcat?

I don't have covid! My school is making us take weekly tests if we're at the hospital and I was scared that I would still test positive despite not having any real symptoms other then a sore throat for the past 3 days .

6 weeks on without therapy tomorrow and I actually love not sending that money over. I bought my first individual share in a chocolate company for £4.00 today.

Has he always been like this?

Maybe he needs his own quiet space away from the others.

One of my cats is like that right now too - his crossness is due to an alarming amount of rain with no stops so he can't go outside. I think all cats do this from time to time. He has my two giant furry dogs cowering. The other cat just goes and gets in a box until mad cat goes upstairs.

Further proof I am not a Southerner--I found a box of peanut brittle (Old Dominion) on the supermarket clearance shelf and since it was gluten free (and 99 cents), I got it and opened it just now.

I thought peanut brittle was a kind of cookie. It is not. It is candy.

I have always thought the same thing. Something like a biscuit with peanuts on top. Heard of it but not seen any here.

I have been making peanut brittle since I was tiny. My other grandmother was the cook and she made it at least monthly if not weekly. Were you thinking about pralines? They are candy/cookieish but probably more candy. Or moon pies? - they are cookies. This grandmother taught us how to make taffy - her homemade taffy was delicious.
There is a Persian confection made with pistachios that is like peanut brittle and it is delicious as well. A student brought me back some after going to visit his family in the Middle East.

I don't think I have ever had pistachios but that does sound delicious. My next door neighbor used to make peanut brittle at Christmas. So delicious. I am tempted to order some from See's now after all this talk of Peanut Brittle!

I don't think I am going to become a peanut brittle fan. I'll finish the box, but doubt I will buy any ever again.

Like lemon I thought it was a cookie with peanuts on top.

PSA: I also recently tried something called Beanitos (cheese puffs made of beans) because gf. Eh.

Gah! All this talk of peanut brittle. I gave in and ordered some from See's. Oh well. As long as I was there I ordered some chocolate for my folks for Easter, even though I already ordered them a Harry and David's gift basket. Oh well. Its a very important holiday for me personally. And it's almost the end of Lent. About 2 weeks left!

Hmmm. that sounds.....interesting. I'd probably try it because I'll try most things (foods at least) once.

Anyone tried any insoles for plantar fascitis? My right heel has been killing me and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I just ordered some insoles a bit ago from the internet that is supposed to help with the pain. Usually it's only really bad in the morning and at night but today it has hurt all day. I'm going to ice my heel tonight I think and forego my afternoon/evening walk.
