Here you go. Don't worry - when I took the pic of the coyote I was in the car and using super-zoom! I'm not brave enough to do it any other way! And I have to say - the swirly clouds around the sun as it started setting is the absolute coolest sunset pic I think I've ever taken.

I think that first tree starred in The Wizard of Oz!

Eta - just finished watching my favorite italian murder pbs mystery. I wonder if the actors whose diction really resonates with me are a) using vocabulary im familiar with or b) dialect im familiar with?

Because some of them, its like i have to parse the sentences in my head, whereas others, its as familiar to me as english, no translation needed.

I should ask my italian cousin, shes so smart.

Found out that my job is going to be a covid casualty. Not a lot of grant $$ rolling in for education research right now, surprise. That means I am using up a good part of my vacation time by taking days off whenever I want. Heh. I don't have to work tomorrow.

In other random news, my grandson was here and asked me to paint his toes (sparkly green) so I did, and somehow I ended up with sparkly pink fingernails. I am working mightily in my head to get over the idea that I am far too old for sparkly pink fingernails.

Really anxious. I see my normal psychiatrist tomorrow. My gender psychiatrist had (about a month or two back?) put in notes about my alters and said my normal psychiatrist will follow up. I'm worried I'm actually unconsciously faking or something like that.

Want pocket riders please. If the phrase still exists on this forum. Haven't come across any pocket rider requests in many months.

My T also hasn't answered 2 very vulnerable emails I sent. It's been a week.

I would have gone with peanut butter and kale crackers. I have had peanut soup with kale, peanut dressings on kale salads, etc and there are a lot of non- regular u.s. cuisines that mix peanuts and greens - I really like the ones I have tried.

In the end I took the path of least resistance and fell asleep. I will report back on PB kale crackers if it ever comes to that.

My next exam is in 17 days . Studying has been going not so great. I have been doing bits here and there (4.3h yesterday 2h today), but I really need the anxiety and panic attacks to push myself. I don't feel like I really care anymore. I'm almost 30 now and I'm so done trying to please my mother and letting other people tell me how I should live my life.

New show that I'm watching The man in the high Castle.

@@ You might like the show Cruel summer which will be coming out. It has the same producers as for the sinner. If you don't mind all the obvious teenage angst.

Do you have any GF bread? You could do a simple cheese on toast!

There is no better sport to be sore over.

I don't have a loaf on hand, so at midnight last night I would have either had to fire up the bread machine and wait a couple hours or dress and go to the store.

My new rocker recliner arrived. I go through about 1 every 5 years - it is the only chair I sit in at my house. It always feels odd for awhile.
This would be a better chair for my back when I teach on zoom - it is firmer. But luckily my classes end next week and we are going live (at least right now) in the fall.

Don't women like you sit on your porch in such rockers with a shotgun in your lap?

... At least I hope so.
