I like kefir but can't stand kombucha. My roommate loves it so I've tried several varieties and all of them taste like bubbly dirt to me.
Congrats.

I've not tried kefir or kombucha. I like lassi.

Tried kombucha once 9 years ago and liked it pretty well for just having a few sips of it. It seemed very fizzy and made me purse lips similar to when you drink a tart liquid such as lemon juice.

I just got home around 30 mins ago. I passed my Pediatric exam with a B grade. I also got a hug from someone in my group.

I literally just have more exam left now.

Huge congratulations, Cake!

I hope you are able to reward yourself for such an achievement.

One exam to go - enjoy that feeling!

If it's a decent shop (like in my region of the world), you can choose your "sugar level" from 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%. I've had plenty of non sweet bubble tea. Couch 228--The Wellness Couch

I spent $500 on Disneyland tickets and parking for me and my parents. My birthday is at the end of next month but they didn't have the park availability I wanted until the first part of July so I scheduled/reserved for July 5th. I'm like ouch at the price but it's been since 2019 since I've been to the park and 2016 since my parents have been to the park. I feel guilty spending the money on myself but it's worth it. I'm worth it. For my birthday present, my parents will buy me the food for that day and like a tee shirt or something.

I am really missing my cat Esther. Amelia is not as cuddly. I tried to pet her today but she ran away from me though she did let me stand pretty close to her when she was eating. She is so skittish. She's getting better slowly but I fear she will never be a lap cat.

I like the kombucha with a bit of fruit juice in it but not the kind without any juice. I've only had kefir a couple of times, and I recall it being like liquidy yogurt. It was fine.

I have never had Kombucha or Kefir but I will pretty much try anything once. The first I heard about Kombucha was from the owners of my company. I sent them some Harry and David for Christmas and there was pears of course in the box and they were like, yeah! We were looking for some pears for our Kombucha. I had to look up what that was at the time because I didn't know.

That makes it less scary for me, thanks! Maybe i will make it an artist's date for myself as things open up to go get one.

A high school friend visited me about ten years ago to go get one, and i accompanied her to the restaurant, but i was too chicken to get one myself!

Some of them are just not lap cats. The old guy I have had since he was about 5 weeks old (found on the side of the road) is not a lap cat - he never has been. He wants to be near but not on the human. He will cuddle with dogs. My inherited cat was a stray who wandered in and just hung around until we caught him and got him neutered. Some days it seems I can't go two feet without him clamoring to be on me.

I totally agree stopdog. Some cats are just not lap cats. I have to decide (but not yet) if I want to get another cat. If I do decide I am going to ask at the shelter specifically for a lap cat. I want one that will sit with me a lot. I can't make Amelia be a lap cat though she will sit with me in the wee hours in the morning when it is still and quiet and I treasure those times. But she won't sit with me any other time of the day. She has come a long way with socialization and I'm really glad I adopted her.

Guinea pigs came up in my Dr. T session today. He asked, "Did you see the segment of them on AFV the other day?" Me: "On the what?" Dr. T: "America's Funniest Videos. I guess you don't watch it if you don't know what it stands for." Me: "I mean, I watched it many years ago, I guess?" Dr. T: "It's good wholesome family viewing. Watching people get kicked in the nuts."

I hope you do go, but it's also possible to make it yourself if you buy the tapioca pearls or flour. Then you could control the sugar/. have it the way you want.

We had sub sandwiches at lunch for the May birthdays and then we had apple pie and ice cream at 2 o'clock break. We are so spoiled. There were donuts too at 8:30 AM break but I didn't indulge in that this week.

Possible trigger:
I didn't even realize I was worried about it until I got the results and I could physically feel the relief. It was like whoosh. It's okay. I guess I was worried because my Mom always had abnormal ones. And I just assumed I would too. But everything is good. Now I don't have to worry about it for three years. And I was a good girl and got my Mammogram scheduled for next week. I feel quite grown up.

I'm glad your test results were fine, Kit! And that you're good for 3 years! Out of curiosity, what day is your mammogram next week? I'm getting mine Tuesday (annual one that's 6 months overdue because of COVID concerns).
