I was the last holdout in my family and of my circle of friends. We just have our cell phones now. I will just give that number if asked for a home # in the future and hope that suffices.

How long is the film?

Maybe first thing in the morning would work better?

Would you guys feel okay with going to a massage place at the moment? It's been more then a year since I last went in feb. That plus the gym really used to help me. Dropped gym too. They have spaces for today and tomorrow.

I have just been feeling really bad. I started getting anxiety attacks again and the mornings are the worst.

After 18 weeks of no therapy- I emailed Rob last week on Wednesday asking for a session after he sent his last email. He replied on Friday asking what my expectations for the session would be. I don't want the one termination session and I don't feel ready to end.

When we were kids we had small paddling pools in the garden that we filled up. in the summer Maybe your dog would like that too?

The last time I was home we did the same for Belle.

I'm really annoyed that a bunch of my friends in the same age group as me have gotten their registration for covid vaccines approved (so they can book an appointment at vaccination centers) but I haven't.

On the plus side, the friend I live with who has multiple autoimmune disorders did change her mind and get her first pifzer jab. No serious side effects so far.

Lemon, are you vaccinated? I feel like you are, but am not sure. If so, I think a massage would be completely fine and quite safe. What are rules around masking there? It could be that massage therapist and you would both have to wear a mask, which would make it even safer.

I'm actually not currently vaccinated. We still have masks in shops, but a lot of things have slowly opened up around 2-3 weeks ago.

I've read their news updates but it doesn't say. I think it would be masks only until the front counter, then maybe not in the changing room. I wouldn't like to wear a mask during it though, as I only have the thicker masks.

Maybe they applied a few days before you? And they're sending things out in batches.

Nah, same day as me (first day the registration for our age group) but earlier in the day. I should know by the end of tomorrow though.

We're the last group to get vaccinated as the government prioritised more vulnerable groups first.

I decided not to go. The slot would have been at 6.20pm and it's already 5.15pm now and I'm not in the mood to walk more.

My parents were told they couldn't have internet provided if we didn't keep the home phone line. Not really used as much.

Ah, OK. I know you said you decided to skip it, but if you opt to go in the future, could you get a surgical mask (like the disposable kind, not N95s) to wear? Or a thinner cloth one?

Maybe in the meantime, you could contact them to find out what mask requirements they have, what cleaning/air quality precautions they're taking, etc.

My provider told me that the first two times i called to cancel the phone but that's been like a year or more ago I think. I lose track of time. But this time they didn't give me any guff at all. Maybe a lot of people have been doing it and they finally gave it I dunno.

Maybe it's not true then.

They have the cheapest package deal and it costs £22 a month which they price matched with another company. At one point they were paying £70, because of all the little extras. I've learnt you should call them up when your contract is ending.

I've been going for massages for about a year, as soon as the massage studio opened back up. Here it fell under outpatient health services so they opened up fairly early. It was weird wearing a mask at first but now I am used to it. If you go, wear a nice loose one that will be comfortable in the cradle. And if you are a drooler (like me--my massage therapist friend assures me it's normal but yikes), bring a different mask to wear home. Heh.

Old man cat is getting slower and creakier even on his meds. The boys feed him every evening and say he's not eating as much. He has not confused himself or the kittens lately by jumping on them in play? get off my lawn?, no one really knows. I think this is one of the hardest parts of pet ownership, trying to gauge pain and/or quality of life for a being who can't actually speak to tell us. Which may be for the best, as I'm sure half what he'd say would be cursing us minions for getting pate instead of shreds (and like missteps), but still....
