The weather where I am is still mild. It’s just rain or cloudy days. Not quite summer.

I hope everyone is having a great day or night depending where your located!!

We got home Saturday. The pigs seem very happy to be home and are doing well, thanks! I didn't realize until yesterday morning that they hadn't really made any noise at all at the beach, when they're usually making noises to me begging for food and sort of chattering with each other. So they've resumed that again, along with this thing called zoomies, where they race around the cage (I think cats do something like that, too, right? like a sudden burst of activity?)
Thanks LT.

Her medical records from the shelter are very sketchy. Like she had one vet appointment and it doesn't mention any vaccines which I am surprised they didn't at least give her the Rabies vaccine. This is the first time I have adopted from the City shelter. Before I used another shelter and the pets came most of the way vaccinated and already had been spayed. This one they don't spay them until they get adopted which doesn't seem right being that there is a medical benefit to the animal for being spayed if they are spayed before the age of 2.5 I think. The only reason why I didn't go with the other shelter was that they only had two cats at the time I wanted to adopt so I decided to go to the city one where they had more cats. But I am disappointed that she doesn't even have a rabies shot.

Yes, cats get the zoomies too. Unfortunately it's usually like around midnight or something when I'm sleeping. Glad to hear your piggies are doing well. I had two guinea pigs growing up. One must have been old when we got him because he died of a heart attack not too long after we got him. The other one lived a long time and I ended up giving it to a second grade class.

That sounds kinda like the outfit I have been wearing to therapy every week pretty much since I went back to in-person. It's an oversized blue t-shirt and a pair of black legging things. Both have little holes in them but they are so super soft and comfy I can't give them up and it's become my therapy "uniform" of sorts, and putting that outfit on on Friday mornings signals to my brain that it's the weekend (I work Sun-Thurs). I guess that may change now that we're going to every 2 weeks or maybe 3 weeks, we'll be discussing that on 7/2. Maybe I'll go shopping during this interim and find a bright yellow, flower-y dress or something to wear instead and surprise her.

Oh yes I’m much better. It was honestly just a mistake. A physician gave me the pills for mouth pain and didn’t know I was on other meds. They didn’t ask me either. I wasn’t in any distress or felt any interaction. But I took them together before bed time so I went to sleep. It was the next day I had the heart issues and they noticed my pulse. Can’t mix those together anymore lol. Or at least all at the same time.

I see people have cats!! And pigs! Oh man I’ve always wanted a pig!

Here’s my derpy kitty if anyone needs a pick me up today

I took a break from Dr. K this month. Mostly because I had just gotten Helen and I wanted to take care of her and didn't want to take an hour appointment. So then he is going on vacation so I don't see him until July 19th.

So I am kind of using this time to evaluate whether I need to continue with therapy or not. I feel pretty stable so I sort of don't feel like I need it right now. But I always like to have something to fall back on. Especially if I get destabilized. But I hate going and not having anything to really talk about. So we'll see how I do for the month (because then it would be almost 2 months since I saw him) and then I will make a determination if I need to continue or not.

One of my coworkers brought me in a Russian Stacking Doll today. I collect them. What a nice surprise. Although it is from someone who died or something so it feels a little weird to have it.

here's a funny pic of my Penny girl. I know it looks like she's hanging on for dear life but actually she's laying all spread out on the top of the ottoman hanging over the side and I held my phone down by the floor under her to take the pic

I love how she does her eyes! All shadow on the left eye, and "cats eye liner" and Twiggy lashes on the right. Does she have a youtube tutorial on how to achieve this look?

I don't think getting stuff that came from a dead person is any different than getting something used from other sources - I always get stuff from estate sales etc if it something I have been looking for - better to use it than just toss it or what ever if there is someone who will appreciate it.

We had thunderstorms and strong wind overnight - a lot of trees/branches down - I wouldn't have noticed but at 2:00am the dogs went bonkers at the front door because a possum was taking refuge on my porch

He’s a boy. He’s got a half paralyzed face from a severe mite infection he had when I found him. The eye on the paralyzed side also doesn’t close fully, just the lens. So it’s kinda creepy seeing him blink and sleep. He also has a tooth that sticks out that you can kinda see. He’s got the most high pitched meow you’ll ever hear and he’s just all around a pretty cool cat.
I took the photo as he was trying to climb me lol

I found a T who does my exT modality locally she offered Zoom appointments but i want face to face she wrote back telling me the modality isnt very popular in my town and when she has enough interest in face to face she will find a rooom i asked if she has asked the other clients interest in face to face and she said no. What if other clients are interested in this but dont know its an option i dont know if i am being tooforward in suggesting she ask the clients.
