Perhaps you could get it a crazy outfit?

H & I just got back from Costco, where among other boring stuff like TP and paper towels we bought a giant thing of peanut m&m's. That oughta hold me for awhile even if OT goes longer than 2 more weeks!! And, he bought me some flowers. Picked out a bunch that has a couple roses in it even. They're very pretty, and cheering me up a little.

Thank you, @@. High time I start asking that, probably.

This is good though. I finally cried a little over it all. Not very long, but enough for the moment.

I played around with a variegated heart this evening, I kinda like it. I have some other variegated colors too, will have to see which ones look best. I'm thinking anything that has pink or rose colors in it would be good.

I've always believed I wanted a cape, but after looking at an Irish site, it appears I really desire a nice thick walking cloak. It must be long and made of substantial stuff. I don't want anything flimsy, even if it does swirl dramatically.

I wish to be dramatic merely by means of my presence, although my desire for a hood has stymied my search thus far. And also my hesitancy to pay $250-450 for a garment I covet but will probably rarely wear.

Oops, I replied to your "Dear T" post, Artie. I hope that is okay!

I realized today that my follow up appt next week with the oral surgeon, is a different one than performed the procedure. I think that is strange. Also, weirdly enough. I am a little sad I won't see him again to thank him because he did make it slightly better for me by trying to put my anxiety at ease.

Y'know that reminds me of something else. Remember how L always wore black? Well at my last session she wore a fairly bright blue sweater. I mentioned that I was glad she hadn't worn black that day and she responded "I didn't do it for you." I was thinking to myself huh?!?! Did I say you did??? So odd.

And here's where it really takes talent to be me - when the call came in, I heard the beep (I wear my headset in chat so I can hear the little computer alert for a chat if I'm not staring at my screen watching for it) and even thought I HEARD a call come in, I still tried to answer it as if it were a chat by typing even though there was no chat window to type in. The caller starts going "hello? hello?" and I realized what I had done. I made up some excuse or other about my headset haha

I don't know about me sometimes.....
Every time I read about your job, I think about how unsuitable I am for live chat and call centre phone work, haha.

I should learn touch typing.

I had wanted to thank the anaesthesiologist and the surgeon but they do back to back surgery and the folks who woke me were different.

The follow up oral surgeon was different, though its normal in my part of the world, although I don't know why.

I hated call centre work i quit after i was trying to escalate this callers problem to the next level but htere was no record of the diagnostic procedure that preceded so said that i would have to go through the diagnostics again and he kept on saying that he had already done this twice but there were no notes in his files and then this guy lost his **** and nearly deafened me by banging his handset on the table repeatedly and i could hear him in the background hitting something and in the end he screamed obscenities at me and then i hung up on him and i started crying and left my desk to calm down but the next day i got hauled over the coals for hanging up on a customer so i quit.

I’m sorry, but this is the end of the road for us. I cannot possibly be in a comedy duo with someone who confuses “High Society” with “The Philadelphia Story.” The second spawned the first but is so much better.

That’s why you need a good morse.

And you just put the cloak over the backpack so you look like Quasimodo. There’s an older cloak-wearing professor on my campus who does exactly that.

Did you really just confuse Jimmy Stewart with Frank Sinatra? I worry about you. and Ruth Hussey with Celeste Holmes? I suppose we should be grateful you can tell Cary Grant from Bing Crosby (ugh) and Katherine Hepburn from Grace Kelly.

Yep. And, she's rather full of **** with her "you don't know me" baloney. I know her well enough to know that she sees herself as above things like that but I am of the opinion that you are 100% correct in that assessment.

Oh man how awful. I don't blame you for quitting. I really don't understand why employees are expected to just accept any and all abuse from callers. When I worked for one of the cable companies prior to current employer, I hung up on someone who was being abusive toward me and that was on the day I had my breakdown - H called me in sick after that call and took me to the dr, I ended up at pdoc soon after who got me some time off work (short term disability) and put me on meds. It was one of the happiest days of my entire LIFE when I walked into that call center and handed over my letter of resignation. I must admit I enjoyed the hell out of my last day, though - "You get a credit, you get a credit, everybody gets a credit!" haha
