Other T Matt was nice and I'm going to stick with him.

I want to do therapy every2-3 weeks only though instead of every week.

I'm so glad you've found a T you feel comfortable with, Cake. You are worthy of support and care.

From what the website says, I'm supposed to be able to save my answers to the survey I'm currently doing and come back later. I cannot find a save button, and this is frustrating.

Hugs to everyone!

Switzerland just decided yesterday to lift mask requirements everywhere as of today (kind of funny how to put it into place, they had to wait for like a month for all the cantons, i.e. states, to decide on that, but if they lift it, it's one day). Kind of pisses me off, my boyfriend just agreed to me taking walks again this week due to falling numbers, now it's probably going to go back up in a week...

It should still be safe if you're doing the walks outside, right?

Yes, it's safe as far as I have done the math. I wear a KN95 mask just to be sure, but my partner worries a lot, he goes very over the top. I think it's part of his Asperger's, he currently wants me to pinch my eyes together every time I see somebody so that less air can touch them, since theoretically infection via that path is possible... I don't really feel like arguing with him most of the time, so I just agree to stuff like that, not that I do it most of the time when he's not looking.

Edit: I mostly just feel bad for lying to him a lot. Like he seems to think taking 10 minutes to take out the trash is reasonable by now. So I take 10 minute walks. It would take me a minute max, but he doesn't check the clock and doesn't seem to notice if I'm out longer... stuff like that.

I'm going to attend a zoom drum circle again this evening, really looking forward to it. It was wonderful last week. I don't know why I waited so long to finally start attending them! Sometimes I can be so silly.

I don't think you should feel bad because he'd know it doesn't take 10 minutes to take out the trash if he ever did it, no?

You've been working OT and little time for much else not that you're silly.

I understand he's afraid. but if you want to go, you should be able to do so regardless of him agreeing or not.

I'm surprised it took this long for Wordle to come up on the Couch. Getting to do the new one first thing after midnight is the only fun thing about getting up in the middle of the night with a baby. (Plus bonding time or whatever, I suppose...)

Thanks for the nice words guys, definitely something to think about!

Wordle is somehow a bit hard for me as a non-native speaker. It's really fun, but when I got like three letters and have to cycle through combinations with the letters that I haven't tried yet, I often think a combination isn't a word and then not try it. It's usually because I mispronounce it when doing it in my head, I'm not sure how to explain it.

(Putting a trigger warning since I can't figure out whether there is a thing for spoilers)

Maybe you could sign up for another one?

What about doing another of those dream courses or something similar too?

The English language is weird. I think it's supposed to be one of the most difficult to learn? (Though I struggled with Spanish, which I believe is supposed to be one of the easiest...)

Both my husband and I are native English speakers, have English degrees, *and* work with words for our jobs. He didn't get the answer today, and there was one last week that I didn't get. We've both said that sometimes we'll stare at, say, the 2 letters we have so far, and it's like all the words we know go out of our heads. As in "there is no word that will possibly work with that combination of letters." When obviously there is!

So...not just you!

I always find that to be the case, LT. I also have an English degree, but it's as if every word I know disappears. I don't know why I persevere, but I do.

He does these circles every thursday evening so I think I'm going to keep attending them as long as he keeps them on zoom. (he's in another state so i wouldn't be able to do in person ones if he ever changes to that.) He asks for a $10 donation each time so i can do that even after we stop all the overtime.

Thanks, good idea about another dream workshop! There are also some courses I've wanted to do on jung platform and with all this overtime I'm going to go on there now and find one or two of them to purchase. they're fairly affordable, compared to some other courses I've looked into.
