This is not something that has ever been a topic of discussion with my family and friends or concern with my lovers. Has exhankster turned all of you into freudians? Add it to the ever growing list of my not understanding the fascination of it

Surely it's no more harmful than arming one's self with random power tools and donning a flying squirrel suit.

It isn't harmful and I am not trying to prevent it - I just don't get it and it hasn't ever really come up in my life.
Squirrel suits are fun activity as are power tools. The point is to do it without getting harmed. The potential harm is just a side - -but have at it if you find this a fun activity or interesting as apparently many of you do. I would file it as a straight thing but it never came up in my family at all either. I feel like a foreigner here trying to figure out what the locals are doing (or smoking)

Now for something completely different - if you are looking for a fun tv show -The Derry Girls is a show I highly recommend.

Surely flying squirrel suits are only dangerous if one tries to fly in them.

I mean, the flying squirrel suits don’t kill people, the people who think they can fly kill people.

They don't all crash into mountains or trees. Of course, enough people have done that the Man has started to try and stop it in places. What kind of a world are we becoming when people who want to be flying squirrels for a few seconds before obliterating themselves on a sheer cliff face are stopped by the interfering nanny state. omg my h does the "come look at this" thing from the bathroom at least once a month. I've started just responding from whatever room I'm in "I'm proud of you, dear" or "that's a good boy" or "ew, gross, no" depending on what mood I'm in.

So that's the problem. My h changed I think exactly one diaper when our son was a baby!! After which he said "I can't do this."

New pdoc in 30mins L is actually going to be on the call with me. I'm a little nervous because she can talk a LOT! But it will be nice having her input as another professional.

I guess it went okay? She was a real *****!!! She seemed irritated that L was there. I asked her if she would be a part of my treatment team, she basically said no, that the only support she'll provide is appointments. She's taking me off my sleep med (Doxepin). She won't allow me benzos. Instead, she wants me on a higher dose of my Propanonol for anxiety. Oh! She wants me in IOP (because she started the program). I don't have much choice other than to stick with her. There's not many pdocs in my area. It sucks because now I have an ******* of a PCP and a ***** of a pdoc. I miss my other doctors.

Darn it! My insurance completely covers the IOP. And they had an open appointment on Thursday for assessment. I don't want to go

Hugs, Scarlet. I'm so sorry the appointment with your pdoc was so difficult. Is she requiring you to do IOP, or do you have a choice? And could you still see L while doing that? I'd ask about that for sure, if you have a choice--I know years ago when a former p-doc wanted me to go in one, I wouldn't have been able to meet with (not sure if contact was allowed) my then-T and then-MC for 6 or 8 weeks.

If you can still see L (and timing would work out) and insurance completely covers it, perhaps there's a chance it could help you and might be worth trying? I understand not wanting to go though.
