Happy Birthday, Comrade!

I hope the food is good, and your walk is beautiful.

Take care,

Lost

Navajo Rabbit...

My colleague has chosen narrative conflict as a theme for the adult writing workshop this week.

I'm having a really hard time making that translate to a poetry element.

Stupid thing is, this struggle is the whole reason I felt compelled to cancel with RC for this week, when I could really do with her support.

Hugs, Lost. Are you still able to meet with RC, like could you un-cancel? Or was it for this past week?

I'm still trying to get my head around things, and I think that taking time out to speak with RC and journal afterwards would take my focus too far away from where it probably needs to be.

We are not just any Aquarians, we are middle aged Aquarians. Or maybe una is full old, I am not sure. In any case, we are top tier Aquarians. Fact.

I read this all like, "who is comrademoomoo talking about, who are these middle aged peoples," and then was like, "oh. yeah, that's me." don't feel old enough to be my age.

Happy birthday to all Aquarians on the couch who were, are, or will be celebrating! We are a bunch of creative, eccentric, progressive iconoclasts.

Having supportive colleagues is everything.

I spoke to one of my colleagues today who remembered a poem that I'd introduced during one of her workshops, and I've created something new based on it.

Hopefully I'll be able to catch up this week and meet with RC next Sunday.

Is submitting a poem to a magazine because your title happens to fit their theme a little too tenuous?

A friend of mine sent me an excerpt from a book she thought would amuse me - it is called Therapist's Daughter and it is a memoir from a child of a therapist and it is written in verse. It is quite awful.
