Remember me and admin guy?

I started this thread because I wanted people to tell me how happy they were for me, instead I get a bunch of people telling me what a horrible thing my love is.



I think I should only write about my love on the other site, where people are supportive of it.

Greenleaves, no one has to know you well at all to know that you have an obsession and that it's not healthy. We've been telling you this for your own good, but you don't want to hear it. Someday, hopefully you will understand.

I'm sorry I got a little angry. I know people are just trying to help.

Right now I really believe that my love for Dr. B is good for me. I just really like loving him and I don't want to stop.

I think Dr B should be reinvestigated for unethical WHATEVER! but then, that would assume that what you are saying Green is all reality. I'm sure it is your truth, I'm not sure it is the truth.

If you like Dr B so much, why do you feel you need to post HERE instead? What about PC do you love? I think your crush may be an almost innocent child like infatuation for someone who you have created as a safe, wonderful being. I wouldn't want to shatter that for you. However, those of us who do know, know that Dr B might not be the person you imagine, and has ulterior motives with allowing you to continue your "actions" towards him. IDK. Could be real, probably isn't?

Are you taking your medicine? I'm sorry you aren't able to get real therapy time, like the typical one hour a week. I, for one, think you need it.

What ulterior motives would Dr. B have? I think he's great.

Hello? We all know that this guy uses the posts on his site for research and for fodder for his books. How bad is that!

Dr. B isn't doing any research, at least I don't think he is. Wouldn't he have to tell us before doing research?

I think I would be okay with research.

It's funny how this thread moved to relationships because I don't have a relationship with Dr. B. It's a one way relationship. LOL

I love Dr. B. Sigh.

Ok... so it's about a PRETENT relationship! It didn't belong in General.

It's not even a pretend relationship. I don't pretend that Dr. B talks to me or thinks about me. I just love him. I just think, "Dr. B, I love Dr. B". I don't think about his life or who he is. I just like Dr. B the administrator.

I love it when he moves posts around and replies to people. His replies are precious because they are rare. He doesn't write or talk much.

I love it when he's online.

Who is "we all"? I certainly do not include myself in a group which forms judgements such as yours without objective data and a good reason to provide such a judgement.

And please check your facts before posting such sweeping statements about another. At present and over the last two years, there has not been any research at Psychobabble that has not first required additional and specific informed consent.

How often do you post to other peoples threads to tell other people how happy you are for them? I don't do that very often at this cite... and thus I don't expect people to be so very keen to do that to my threads.

because most people reserve the term 'love' for long term sexual relationships, deeply intimate friendships, and family members. when you say you *love* him then a fairly natural assumption is that you want to marry him, or something like that.

i'm a little surprised that people think this is any stranger than transference (aka *love*) that people feel for their therapists.

but maybe people don't talk about transference (aka *love*) very much at pc? maybe that is a relevant difference...

I too am a little puzzled at what you expected, deneb.

Did you really expect people here to be supportive when some here have been hurt by him? Did you really expect people here to be supportive when you have been asked before to leave issues relating to the other site at the other site? Did you really expect any good to come of your thread?

I don't want to hurt you. I don't. But I think you were on to something significant when you posted about how you don't really seem to understand others pain. Other people said 'we love you just the way you are' and you know i love you just the way you are.

But it is also true that everyone... Can take steps towards being a better person.

So...my "delusions" are harmful and that's why I need meds.

I think I'm worried about stigma...of taking an antipsychotic. I think it's a big deal. I can't ever let my parents know about this.

Actually, it's always bugged the snot out of me when someone makes sweeping generalizations and judgements about another. This bugged me long before I joined Babble and will bug me long after I stop posting there or here.

Just a little character flaw I guess. Addendum from edit: But this is a bigger issue than this thread by Greenleaves, so I'll pack up my complaints about this and leave GL to her thread.
